"We had some problems communicating with the owner in the time leading up to our arrival, but once that was settled this house worked very nicely for us. There were eight in our group, and the house gave us good spaces for doing things together but also allowed us each our own space also. The house itself is beautiful but comfortable. We all agreed the neighborhood is one of the loveliest we have experienced. Although we were not that close to the things we were doing, we found the train station to be a tolerable walk (except for a couple in our party who have physical limitations), and we also enjoyed walking to Ada’s, the neighborhood grocery store, and Iron Horse Ale House. We had a bit of trouble getting the A/C working our first evening and it was quite hot, but we figured that out just in time for the weather to change! There were a few ants but it was obvious the owners were dealing with the problem. A small irritation for a couple of people in our party was that the WiFi was not very good. Overall this was a very positive experience for the eight of us and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to others."

"The condo itself is beautifully done. It is clean, modern, and spacious. The only thing that didn't work was the clothes dryer, which went on but didn't spin. My main complaint was the area. There is little in the way of decent restaurants or entertainment within reasonable walking distance. However, the Metro station is a few blocks away, offering a ride to the rest of Chicago. Overall, I would recommend this place."

"The agent Dan made this so easy for us. Very responsive to all questions I had. The apartment was perfect for my group of 5-6 people during the Fare Thee Well concerts at Soldier Field. The "L' is very nearby and cabs were easy to hail and a better value then Uber. The outdoor terrace off the "master" was a real nice respite for a drink and entertaining a few visitors-even had option of a back yard with grill, but never even needed it. We easily used taxi for getting to and from supermarket which was great, but not close by.Pictures very accurate. Beds were very comfortable. We were supplied with more then enough towels and the kitchen was adequately supplied with all the basic necessities you'd expect or need. Also very quiet location. I would recommend to friends that need not be in the center of the city-excellent value relative to a hotel and certainly more fun."

"It was a perfect place for our family of 8 who met in Chicago from Arizona and Michigan. Four adults and four children enjoyed the neighborhood and the sites in the city. Easy access to public transportation. When we were tired of sightseeing, we could come "home" and still be together to watch TV, rest or play games. A bonus was that some our group had lived in the Roscoe Village neighborhood at one time so it was a homecoming of sorts. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We will stay there again!"
