  • Great home away from home

"Jon was very accommodating. The place was comfy, clean and close to public transportation, plenty of yummy restaurants and parks for the kids. Would definitely return!!"

  • Great property in a fun neighborhood!

"We recently spent a wonderful weekend in Chicago. The property is in a great location - walk to amazing restaurants, cute neighborhood shops and walk to public transportation. The apartment is just as described if not better! The owner was great to work with. He communicated with us for our arrival with clear instructions for check-in. There was information in the apartment for restaurants and sights to see in Chicago. We have found a great place to stay for our future visits to Chicago."

  • Best

"I rented this property for three nights a few weeks ago. I have rented other short-term apartments in the past in Chicago and in other U.S. cities. I would have to say that this is the nicest one I've rented so far. The location is great. It is easy access to the interstate and to downtown by car. It is one block from bus stop and about two blocks from the Addison brown line station (seemed safe to me at 5:30 am) where you can ride to the loop in about 20 minutes. It's about two blocks from several good restaurants. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, well kept, and feels quite safe. Parking on the street was tight, but I never had to park more than a half-block away. The apartment itself is gorgeous. Priced very reasonably. Plenty of space, top-notch bathroom and kitchen amenities, nice living room and dining area, nice furniture, very comfortable beds. Good instructions from owners. Good response time for damage deposit refund. Next meeting I have in Chicago, I'll save myself a lot of internet time by first looking to see if this place is available."

  • A Great Guesthouse in a Super Neighborhood

"This was our first experience staying in a vrbo and I don't think I could ever be as lucky again. I was not familiar with Roscoe Village, but wanted to stay in a neighborhood rather than a downtown hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect. We had a car, and I was concerned about parking, but after reading other reviews I decided to try this condo, and parking was never a problem. There are a number of great small restaurants and a super grocery store within walking distance. It's a family neighborhood and we felt safe walking around at night. The condo itself was spotless! It's newly built and the kitchen and front room are very spacious. The 3 bedrooms are very comfortable (great furniture, linens, and towels) and are removed from the living area so those who want to retire early or sleep in are not disturbed. The kitchen is fully stocked. We had small grandchildren with us, and the condo even had children's dinnerware, utensils, glasses, puzzles, and games. We spent a week in #422128 and truly appreciated Rick meeting us upon arrival, and accomodating our wishes to stay another day. I really liked dealing with the owner, and Rick made sure everything was ready upon arrival. We will return to this condo when we visit Chicago again. It's a gem!"
