  • Delightful Retreat!

"Graceland Carriage house is a perfect place to stay for a city weekend without the hustle and bustle of a loud neighborhood. The house is spacious and well-appointed with high-end details and linens. Cynthia is a gracious host and very flexible. She even stocked the fridge with breakfast items and fresh flowers throughout the house. Very close to Lakeview and Andersonville for nights out on the town. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat when visiting Chicago."

  • Charming and Comfortable

"We have stayed in this lovely historic brownstone many times over the last 5 years. There is no reason to stay elsewhere. The flat is charming and spacious with a nicely appointed full kitchen. The bedroom is in the back so its very quiet and the bed is large and comfortable. The neighborhood is the best in the city, very pretty and very safe. There are dozens of great restaurants in a short walking distance (hundreds within a mile) along with very high-end shopping destinations. You can hail a cab on the corner and get where ever you need to go in the city. If stairs are a challenge for you, be sure to select unit 1 or 2. We prefer unit 3, but do not mind the flights of stairs."

  • Perfect location

"This was an excellent location (extremely central, practically across the street from Grant Park) and less expensive than the hotels in the area. It's not a luxury accommodation but a small, clean, quiet studio apartment, perfect for 1 or 2 people visiting for a week of Chicago sightseeing. All trains, including the blue line from O'Hare, come within walking distance of this location. For breakfast in the neighborhood, there's a French pastry place and Wildberry Cafe, and there's a Target store nearby for food and supplies."
