  • Amazing Place

"We are from South Carolina and my sister-in-law graduated from Navy boot camp and we decided to extend our stay and make a vacation out of it. This place was absolutely amazing. Andrew was very easy to work with and he answered all my questions rapidly. We had a vehicle and it was so nice to have the free parking spot in the garage. We took the train most of the time in the city but a couple of nights we took the car to the casino and I was surprised how easy it was to get around by car. The view from the condo just took my breath away and I loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings just taking it all in. The doormen were so friendly and helpful with directions to restaurants and grocery stores. At the end of our long days in the city we would go relax in the spa and I felt like I was living the high life. I could have stayed here forever. We will definitely return and stay in the same place."

  • Bob & Ann

"We had a wonderful stay here. The studio was practically new, immaculately clean, nicely furnished, and very quiet considering this is a densely populated area. The carriage house, with 2 studios, is charming, and there is a small courtyard between the carriage house and the main house, often populated by a friendly kitty. I think the owners have gone to pains to think of just about everything a guest would need. Internet speed is slow, but, heck, they give you a laptop! Who could complain, really? Lots of nice restaurants along Bryn Mawr and Clark and some of the side streets. We enjoyed several really nice antique/flea market shops in the area as well. We always felt safe. Public transportation via, mostly, the Red Line El, is quite good. We've been to Chicago a number of times and have stayed in nice (not too upscale) hotels along the Mag Mile. This charming place will give a great experience for, say $50 less per night than a very ordinary room downtown. A great buy, I think."

  • You won't regret staying at Winona Residence!

"Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying in this tastefully decorated apartment in the beautiful (and safe) neighborhood of Andersonville. The apartment was well equipped, clean and quiet. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the sun room. The parking garage and laundry facility were a big plus. The apartment is very conveniently located - we used public transit daily to visit other part of Chicago. As many have noted, Paul is an excellent host and very responsive. We would love to stay at Winona Residence once again and would recommend it to family and friends!"
