"We stayed in this charming home for 5 days and found it to be as good as earlier ratings said it is. Galena is an interesting and fun place to visit with lots to do from historical venues to quaint shops to good restaurants. The best part, though, was the cabin itself. There were two couples in our party and the configuration of the unit maximized privacy and gave everyone plenty of space to spread out. It was cozy at the same time - no mean feat. A+ Rentals were great agents, responsive to our inquiries and to a request for assistance. All 4 of us agree that it was a great place to stay in the fall (beautiful color) and would be a great place in the summer with all of the amenities available in The Galena Territory and Eagle Ridge. We plan to return."

"This location can't be beat! We were on a sister's trip celebrating an upcoming wedding. We were able to do everything we wanted mostly by walking. Beach and shopping if you walk out of the charming brownstone to the right. Rush Street to the left with amazing restaurants and bars. The owners were very accessible and prompt with the two inquiries during our stay. We will be using this VRBO again, hopefully very soon!"

"We had some problems communicating with the owner in the time leading up to our arrival, but once that was settled this house worked very nicely for us. There were eight in our group, and the house gave us good spaces for doing things together but also allowed us each our own space also. The house itself is beautiful but comfortable. We all agreed the neighborhood is one of the loveliest we have experienced. Although we were not that close to the things we were doing, we found the train station to be a tolerable walk (except for a couple in our party who have physical limitations), and we also enjoyed walking to Ada’s, the neighborhood grocery store, and Iron Horse Ale House. We had a bit of trouble getting the A/C working our first evening and it was quite hot, but we figured that out just in time for the weather to change! There were a few ants but it was obvious the owners were dealing with the problem. A small irritation for a couple of people in our party was that the WiFi was not very good. Overall this was a very positive experience for the eight of us and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to others."

"We have just returned from a fun weekend family reunion, with children from 4 years old to senior family members. This property is well suited for this type of gathering, particularly having a full bathroom for each bedroom. This avoided bathroom wars!! The design of the property, the quality of the furnishings, and the equipping of the kitchen made it very easy for all to have a great time and not need to leave the facility. The location provided many options for family members, from hiking and running trails, access to many golf courses, the owner's club facilities and pools, and much more. The owners were great to deal with, and answered all of our questions, therefore, we fully recommend this property."
