"A group of six women and five daughters rented this house for five days. The central space containing a kitchen, living room and dining table seating ten was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped since we were eating all of our meals there. The only complaint was that the dishwasher did not do a good job of cleaning the dishes. It should be replaced. This is a great house for group events. The bedrooms, closets and bathrooms are perfect for ten to twelve guests. We had such fun here and will look forward to coming back in warmer weather when we can take advantage of the hot tub, fire pit and screened porches."

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with this delightful cabin! It's in a great location, easily accessible, and perfect in proximity to all of the great area attractions. Even though it's not that far from I-57, it's so quiet and we absolutely love the grounds! The cows and wild turkeys each day were a treat to photograph and we also observed woodpeckers, blue birds, nuthatches, and hummingbirds. Appreciated the fact that this is such a clean cabin and so lovely decorated. Love the hot tub and the grill and the fact that it backs onto woods adding to the quiet relaxation. We enjoyed: Giant City State Park, Bald Knob Cross, Yellow Moon Cafe in Cobden, Scratch Brewery in Ava, Rustle Hill Winery, Garden of the Gods, Rim Rock/Pounds Hollow, the adorable shops along the little Makanda boardwalk, and all of the breathtaking scenery on the back roads. Though we came prepared with our own soaps/paper products, we were happy to see that handsoap and more than adequate paper products were already provided. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!"

"We were so pleased. it is a beautiful condo, wonderfully located! Pleasantly surprised that owners had supplied things like laundry supplies and dish detergent. They thought of everything! We could even see the fireworks on Navy Pier. Appreciated the convenient parking."

"Our family recently made a quick trip to Chicago. We stayed here so we could be close to friends in Evenston. We ended up renting a car vs. trying to use the public transportation. The condo would have been perfect except for 2 things - 1) I would highly recommend buying pillow top mattress covers. The 2 beds were so hard and uncomfortable that we were fighting to sleep on the pullout sofa. 2) the living room is really not designed for use for more than 3 or 4 people. There is a couch and 2 not so comfortable chairs. It seems that this single sitting area is too small for the rest of the house and the very spacious kitchen/eating area. The Rogers Park area is in transition, so some areas are nice and some not so much. Keep that in mind while you travel the neighborhood and make plans. Lastly, ROSS was wonderful. We had a lost piece of luggage that Ross graciously received for us while we were at a show."
