"Our stay with great. The house is really cozy and very comfortable. Our favorite part was the enclosed porch that we really loved and enjoyed. Thank you Steve for a great house and providing all of the necessary stuff in you home. We are definitely planning to rent it again.

"The owner set you up for complete success at this location! Very clean and loaded with all amenities including high quality bed sheets, tons of towels, a garage spot in back, a washer/dryer, coffee pot, cooking-ware, silverware and plates, and almost everything else you need to feel at home. The location is perfect, a 1 minute walk from Lincoln avenue where you can catch cabs or 5 minutes to the red line where you are within 2-3 stops of wrigley and downtown, respectfully. Also within 3 minutes walk to a cvs, breakfast/coffee shops, lunch/dinner restaurants, and at least one great bar option. The biggest downsides of renting this unit are that you have to rent 3+ nights even if you only want to stay for 2 on a weekend and the roscoe village staff are a little less forward or friendly or easy to contact than is preferred. But the owner is nice and I would rent from him again for sure. Enjoy!"

"Last year, my wife & I stayed at Magnolia Studios as part of an extended holiday in the US. We both loved the place. As soon as I knew I had a conference in downtown Chicago, I immediately booked again. Studio 1 proved a wonderful haven in the bitter tail-end of a cold Chicago winter. It was a welcome change to the usual conference accommodation and was as warm and comfortable in the winter as it had been cool and comfortable in the summer. While there for 11 nights, some plumbing work was required in the garden. By way of apology for any inconvenience, I arrived home one evening to find a fine selection of Illinois brews and some chocolates accompanying an explanation of what could be expected. More than adequate compensation for having to wait 5 seconds for the plumber to step aside one morning and me step across a hole. I would highly recommend this place as an ideal alternative to a hotel for anyone with a bit of time to spend in Chicago."

"We loved the location of this unit. Close to the lake, shopping and of course great restaurants. It is not well suited for cooking in but has the basics for heating prepared foods. Clean with nice decor, comfortable bed and great business transaction process. Bedroom is away from the street and very quiet. Our only complaint is with the bathroom. Very small sink and the bath faucet is very loose and difficult to pull out. Hopefully that will be repaired before it breaks on a guest. One other item. This unit is on the 3rd floor. The instructions required taking out the trash at the back of the unit. This was quite a chore given there are lots of steep and narrow stairs."
