Overall we had a great stay and we felt very welcomed and comfortable and cozy here. It was a hit with my 7 year old and 10 yr old girls and i was able to have my extended family over for appetizers and drinks, and pizza ordered from one block away. Jon, the owner was very available and responsive to our last minute booking and our needs. I would stay here again.

"If you want to do Chicago right, you must stay in the Chicago Guest House. You are walking distance from Wrigley Stadium, great/local restaurants, bars and musical entertainment. Plus, you are a 15 minute train ride downtown. The Chicago Guest House is absolutely adorable. With 3 spacious rooms and two baths, we had no issues with 6 people staying together. And the backyard is too perfect for words. Great place to sit and chat. You can even buy wine and steaks around the corner and then grill till your hearts content."

"We had some problems communicating with the owner in the time leading up to our arrival, but once that was settled this house worked very nicely for us. There were eight in our group, and the house gave us good spaces for doing things together but also allowed us each our own space also. The house itself is beautiful but comfortable. We all agreed the neighborhood is one of the loveliest we have experienced. Although we were not that close to the things we were doing, we found the train station to be a tolerable walk (except for a couple in our party who have physical limitations), and we also enjoyed walking to Ada’s, the neighborhood grocery store, and Iron Horse Ale House. We had a bit of trouble getting the A/C working our first evening and it was quite hot, but we figured that out just in time for the weather to change! There were a few ants but it was obvious the owners were dealing with the problem. A small irritation for a couple of people in our party was that the WiFi was not very good. Overall this was a very positive experience for the eight of us and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to others."

"We were here for an annual girls shopping weekend. This was a great place to stay! Plenty of room, quaint and well maintained. ] Walking distance to great shopping and great restaurants. Try Carmines...We ate there more than once!! Owner was great about getting back to us with answers to questions prior to travel. Not really an "app" person, but loved the Home Away App! Had tons of good information. Would definitely recommend this location!"
