Florsheim Mansion was a wonderful place for our group of 8 travelling to Chicago for a wedding
"Russ and his team were exceptional. They were extremely helpful and accommodative with check in time and our varying schedules as a group. The house itself was large and clean with enough space for privacy for everyone staying in the house. The common areas including the outdoor garden were perfect for socializing. Great central location. We highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Chicago."

"Our family (two adults two children) stayed at the Graceland carriage for three nights to start our vacation in Chicago. Cynthia couldn't have been more welcoming, attentive or helpful. She generously stocked the fridge with breakfast goods, fruit and even a few beers! Fresh flowers decorated the property and everything was exceptionally clean, well appointed and comfortable. The area was quiet and safe and we were close enough to the lake to jog there and back one morning. The air conditioning was a godsend during a very hot summer. The property had so many beautiful and unique features and we immediately felt at home after a long journey. I cannot recommend this property highly enough for a stay in Chicago and I will certainly return if I have the opportunity to holiday in Chicago again. Thank you Cynthia!"

"We had some problems communicating with the owner in the time leading up to our arrival, but once that was settled this house worked very nicely for us. There were eight in our group, and the house gave us good spaces for doing things together but also allowed us each our own space also. The house itself is beautiful but comfortable. We all agreed the neighborhood is one of the loveliest we have experienced. Although we were not that close to the things we were doing, we found the train station to be a tolerable walk (except for a couple in our party who have physical limitations), and we also enjoyed walking to Ada’s, the neighborhood grocery store, and Iron Horse Ale House. We had a bit of trouble getting the A/C working our first evening and it was quite hot, but we figured that out just in time for the weather to change! There were a few ants but it was obvious the owners were dealing with the problem. A small irritation for a couple of people in our party was that the WiFi was not very good. Overall this was a very positive experience for the eight of us and we would not hesitate to recommend this property to others."

"We stayed for three nights but we felt like we were at home by the first night. The cottage is much bigger then the pictures show. There was room for everyone to have their own space. It was clean and had everything we needed.
The animals that wonder the property were such an unexcepted hit with everyone. We fell in love with the kittens, the dog that hung out on porch with us, the calf and all of the chickens. The kids loved being outside with them.
The fishing was a nice way to start and end the day.
We were able to get St Louis easily and quickly.
Wonderful place and would stay again if in the area."
