"We had a great time staying at this vacation rental. It's a beautiful home, with beautiful views right on the Fox Valley River. I brought a team of 6 students for a weekend retreat, and we all loved it! We were here in the middle of January, so it was cold, snowy, and frozen outside but warm and cozy inside. We even went for a walk in the snow on a path not far from the house that went along the river. I mostly chatted with Olga throughout our time there, and she was very helpful with any questions that came up during our stay."

"We just concluded a 3 night stay in the wonderful Cedar Sunset Cabin. It was as advertised and more. The pictures did not represent how nice the cabin really was. The hot tub was great. Location was great, short drive to some wonderful wineries and state parks. We hiked Fern Clyff and Giant City and recommend both. Visited both Blue Sky and Rustle Hill wineries only a short drive from the cabin. Few things we wish we would have known was there was no soap or shampoo provided, we brought samples but needed to buy some. At least hand soap in the bathroom would have been nice. Also, we enjoy cooking and had gourmet meals each night and the supplies were rudimentary. For just cooking basic items they were fine. All-in-all, we definitely recommend this cabin and plan on a return visit."

"Last year, my wife & I stayed at Magnolia Studios as part of an extended holiday in the US. We both loved the place. As soon as I knew I had a conference in downtown Chicago, I immediately booked again. Studio 1 proved a wonderful haven in the bitter tail-end of a cold Chicago winter. It was a welcome change to the usual conference accommodation and was as warm and comfortable in the winter as it had been cool and comfortable in the summer. While there for 11 nights, some plumbing work was required in the garden. By way of apology for any inconvenience, I arrived home one evening to find a fine selection of Illinois brews and some chocolates accompanying an explanation of what could be expected. More than adequate compensation for having to wait 5 seconds for the plumber to step aside one morning and me step across a hole. I would highly recommend this place as an ideal alternative to a hotel for anyone with a bit of time to spend in Chicago."
