  • A Must Stay

"What a great experience and location for this property.....it's absolutely perfect. I had a business trip to Chicago and had a small team of professionals with me and this property was ideal. Centrally located, right next to the lake for morning exercise, very clean and well maintained, and yet had the privacy of a local residence. We loved it!"

  • Sunny Seclusion on the Wine Trail

"My BFF and I enjoyed a week's stay at this quaint, quirky cabin. It was close to many of the wineries and great restaurants yet secluded enough for us to enjoy the birds and quiet countryside. Host Lee left us all the makings for a great country breakfast on our first day so we could enjoy a leisurely morning before taking in the local sites. Clean, basic accommodations at a reasonable price, and our 2 dogs had a great time in the fenced back yard! Hope to make another visit next year!"

  • Perfect for Us

"Thank you to our hosts, Tracy and Raphael! We are new to VRBO and staying at The Casa for a week provided us with a wonderful introduction to Chicago. We were looking for a neighborhood experience while also being close enough to the big city attractions of downtown. Taking the train from O'Hare was easy and just a short walk to Little Italy and The Casa. Our hosts created a warm, welcoming environment and the condo itself was charming and accurately represented in the photo and descriptions. We loved being able to shop for fresh ingredients from Little Italy, while the hot tub soothed tired muscles after long, delightful days of walking. We also enjoyed trying out several of the nearby restaurants as well as visiting local parks and wandering the charming neighborhood streets. We are pleased to highly recommend the Casa and will be sharing this listing with others who are planning a trip to Chicago."

  • Chris of Cinci

"I was really pleased with my three day stay. Everything was clean and quite comfortable, and especially warm- it was hovering around negative degrees outside. All amenities for cooking and cleaning were available so I didn't have to alter my diet and eat out while there. The code entry doors were nice, didn't have to fumble around with a key or key card. The house is extremely historic and retains enough old time charm without sacrificing modern convieniences. Parking was decent, wasnt hard to find a spot despite deep snow on the ground. We will be staying there again next we come back to Chicago!"
