"We had an excellent 3 day stay. Bedrooms and kitchen are quite large and make for an ideal stay and lots of room for cooking for 5 couples. There is ample room for families that want a little privacy from the rest and any time. The hot tub and the towels provided make for a very relaxing experience. There was one small problem in the master bedroom on the main floor -- the hot water in the shower was no better than luke warm on 3 different occasions."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The studio was practically new, immaculately clean, nicely furnished, and very quiet considering this is a densely populated area. The carriage house, with 2 studios, is charming, and there is a small courtyard between the carriage house and the main house, often populated by a friendly kitty. I think the owners have gone to pains to think of just about everything a guest would need. Internet speed is slow, but, heck, they give you a laptop! Who could complain, really? Lots of nice restaurants along Bryn Mawr and Clark and some of the side streets. We enjoyed several really nice antique/flea market shops in the area as well. We always felt safe. Public transportation via, mostly, the Red Line El, is quite good. We've been to Chicago a number of times and have stayed in nice (not too upscale) hotels along the Mag Mile. This charming place will give a great experience for, say $50 less per night than a very ordinary room downtown. A great buy, I think."

  • Wonderfully quaint and comfortable place to stay!

"We recently stayed at Casita Reva to move my daughter into her dorm at Northwestern as a freshman. The location was perfect. We loved the quirky decor of the casita and all of our needs were met. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bed, comfortable, the cable TV boasts lots of channels and we were even able to do my daughter's first load of wash for her! We would definitely stay here again, several yummy restaurants were within easy walking distance as well as a bakery for breakfasts. Next time, I may make my daughter's favorite, spaghetti, in the fully stocked kitchen, for a home-cooked meal for my girl from Texas. The owners of the property live on site and were very helpful in supplying tools, bungee cords, etc., to help with our move into the dorm. We also enjoyed a glass of wine and getting to know them, our last evening in Evanston. I see no reason to stay anywhere else!"
