  • City Living in spacious condo

"Unique accommodations in Wicker Park area. Condo has ample space to call home. On Ashland at Augusta, a main route. 5 minute walk to train station. Three stops later you are downtown. Recommend buying the $10 all day pass if traveling through multiple stops on the train or coupled with bus service. Train to and from O'Hare. Jewel-Osco supermarket just a four minute drive. Great to get groceries, very good deli selection. Then the full kitchen in the condo is put to use. Bring leftovers back from the many, many eateries in the area. Large flat screen in the living room with all access cable or dish. Comfy couch and plenty of room for visiting. The owner has a table in the storage hall if having a large gathering for a meal...just like the Thanksgiving my family shared. Sleep well on comfy beds. You'll here the Fire Department making runs during the day, but the bedrooms are in the back, away from the street. The only challenge is the steps. A lot of steps to go up. Not bad or bothersome, but my elderly aunt and guest struggled with them. For the rest of us it was good exercise. I would say that it is not stroller friendly, but we are middle aged adults with teenagers and young adults so it was not an issue for us. Sleeps six easily and can handle more. Great for a large group gathering."

  • Great location, very spacious one bedroom apartment

"My wife and I spent five nights in The Casa over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The location is terrific - on a relatively quiet corner in Little Italy, two blocks from the Blue Line train. It is a 50 minute ride from O'Hare door to door, and about a ten minute ride downtown. All the restaurants on Taylor Street in Little Italy are an easy walk from the apartment. If you have a car, there is plenty of on street parking. The apartment is very spacious and clean - a large and airy living room and dining room, with a small but functional kitchen and a nice half bath on the main floor. The single bedroom is on the lower level - it is a large room with plenty of storage and a comfortable king size bed. Off the bedroom is a large Jacuzzi in a cedar paneled room. The "full bath" is off the Jacuzzi room. Our only real complaint is that the master bath is tiny - a small shower stall and a very small sink without any counter space. In fact, there is no storage space in the bath whatsoever - there is no vanity cabinet nor any shelves shelving anywhere in the bath so there is absolutely no place to store any toiletries."

  • Perfect chicago urban living

"We just spent a week at this property and absolutely loved it - great location off quite residential street - two minute walk to roscoe street with all the adorable shops - train stop just a little further - we cooked several meals in the kitchen and the furnishings were way better than most homeaway rentals - great blender - high quality pots and pans - very highly recommended"

  • WOW....this place was amazing

"This is the first time we've rented a cabin and I'm definitely coming back again some day. The cabin is beautiful and stocked with everything we needed, except food, which we brought....but even then, in the morning we ordered the breakfast package with eggs, bacon, milk, pastries, and etc and cooked it up right there in the kitchen. And the hot tub was awesome. Great location....loved the area wineries that we visited. Best weekend we've had, quite possibly ever! Thanks!"
