  • Great House to Rent

"We planned a mini-family reunion after a wedding and this was the perfect house for us. House is full of antiques, very clean and very comfortable. Easy access to downtown Chicago. Lemont is a charming city as well. Highly recommend it. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay."

"We would wholeheartedly recommend this absolutely fantastic condo!! It was truly a home away from home and made what could have been a really exhausting trip a super easy and relaxing stay for all of us, including our 2 year old and our elderly parents. Nadiya was very responsive and helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better hostess. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable and was in a great location for us as all the major Chicago attractions are all within walking distance, not to mention the restaurants, boutiques, shops and supermarkets nearby. I don't remember enjoying Chicago this much in the past but by the end of our trip we were already planning our next trip back. Thanks Nadiya!!"

  • As advertised and more!

"The penthouse was immaculate, and the views spectacular! The building is right in the thick of things, and the staff was more than helpful for a bunch of tourists. The owners were also very thorough, giving tons of info on Chicago leading up to our trip. They also made themselves very accessible for anything we might have needed during our trip. We were just fine, though, as this place delivered on all that was advertised, and more! The grand plaza penthouse is highly recommended for a high class Chicago experience, thank you!!!"

  • Wonderful clean and cozy cottage in a great location!

"I hesitate to write this review as I don't want it to be all booked up when I need it next year. However, it truly was the ideal place for our family. House is better than the photos depict. It was spotlessly clean and the owners sent detailed instructions on access. These owners are truly detail oriented and have thought of everything to give their guests a very comfortable stay. There is a notebook with the house rules and suggestions of things within walking distance. The owners are right next door, but we never saw them. They were very communicative and available, but respectful of privacy. Our security deposit was returned within 3 days of our check-out! We spent the first evening in Oak Park and walked to a local restaurant in the center of town. Oak Park is such a charming, clean and safe community. The next two days we were in Chicago. We opted to drive into the city since we were visting the Museum of Science and Industry and the Lincoln Park Zoo. I recommend both! Chicago has so much to offer! We didn't need to drive as there is a two car garage at the rear of the property, and we could have just walked to the blue line. However we found good parking options in the city and wanted to explore different areas that were not close to the El. The kitchen is wonderfully efficient and has everything you would need to cook any meal. We cooked breakfast and ate our other meals out since we were on the go. There is a large flat screen TV with direct TV and all of the channels you could want. They also provide a nice DVD library. We didn't watch any movies as we were too tired at night, but it was great that they were there. The beds were very comfortable. The towels and sheets were high quality and the shower water pressure was great! The only thing I would note is that the a/c worked really well on the 1st floor, but it was always about 8-10 degrees warmer upstairs (old house). That probably would not be a problem for most stays, but it was unusually hot and humid on our weekend so the ceiling fans helped to keep it comfortable. This is now our favorite place to stay in Oak Park/Chicago."
