  • Girls Weekend with a Baby!

"This apartment was perfect for our group--we had 3 ladies and a one year old. We took the pack n play for the baby to sleep in. The bathroom and kitchen are small, but well maintained. The apartment is beautiful and well represented by the listing. It is on the second floor, but wide steps to get the stroller up and down. The location could not be better--we did early morning coffee walks, lots of shopping on Michigan Avenue and Oak Street and enjoyed the neighborhood immensely. We were able to park our car at the end of the street for $30/day--there is no street parking--but we never moved our car until we left. If you want to eat in, the kitchen is adequately stocked, but there are lots and lots of great restaurants nearby. Go and enjoy this haven! It is a minute from the fast paced city, but on a quiet, tree lined street. Loved it!"

  • LOVE THIS HOUSE!!!

"My family of 8 stayed in this house for a family reunion (with grandma and my adult children and their significant others). Everything about it was perfect. It is roomy, great location in a terrific neighborhood, and convenient to everything. We loved the spacious kitchen/family room. It had everything we needed. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the master bath is amazing. Also, the backyard is large with two great decks. Matt, the owner is great. We all loved this house and hope to stay here again. Honestly, I wish I could purchase this house!"

  • Updated and cozy

"My wife and I used this unit for a long weekend with our two young children. Upon arrival we walked into a comfortable space from a climate standpoint. We have rented places before where you are waiting an hour for the unit to warm up or cool down because the thermostat was left real high or real low. It was about 90 degrees outside when we arrived and the inside of the unit was nice and cool and welcoming for us. The split level layout is nice for a family with kids so that adults can have their own bedroom on one level with kids on another. Both bedrooms were spacious and well appointed with updated linens and decor. The living area was roomy enough for a family of 4-5 and this space was also updated and comfortable. Kitchen was also well appointed with everything you need for making meals. Quiet location with only a handful of other people that were staying in this section of villas during our stay. The view of the woods was peaceful and serene as well. Good location that is between the owners club and main entrance off Hwy 20. This can make a big difference if you are wanting to get into town to eat out or sightsee. Villas/homes that are in the back of Galena Territory can typically add another 10 min on to your drive into Galena. But this was centrally located making it a short drive to town and a short 5-6 min drive to the owners club where the pool is. Great location, well appointed, nicely decorated, and a comfortable family space. You can't go wrong staying here!"
