  • Great place!

"5 girlfriends (in their 50's) gathered for a weekend and had a great time. Caught music at the Starved Rock Bar on Friday night, hiked and took in Eagle viewing, winery, hiked again to icy falls on Saturday, ate at the Uptown Grill that evening, talked and watched 2 movies at "home", and ate ourselves sick at the Starved Rock Brunch on Sunday. Nice views from the place, quiet setting, nice kitchen adjacent to dining table and room with couch and fireplace. Good time had by all. Will be back."

  • Great spot in Lincoln Park

"We stayed in this unit with some friends for the weekend and had an awesome time. This is a very well kept and spacious unit with plenty of sleeping options and comfortable beds . If you love going out for dinner, drinks or for some laughs, this is an ideal spot with tons of options within walking distance. I look forward to coming back very soon. All the folks at Roscoe Village Guesthouse are outstanding!!!!!!"

  • Perfect for us!

"We spent a week here this July and it was perfect for our little family! The house was clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. We slept great on vacation which is unusual - the house was dark and quiet at night. The boathouse is awesome! It will be hard to go on a lake vacation without one again! Lake Sara is beautiful. Looking at the fabulous houses kept us totally entertained. Kids enjoyed jumping off the dock, tubing and fishing. Hope Lake Sara will get another restaurant when Abigail's closes this season. That is sad :( we loved the house and the lake and we'll be back!!"

  • Clean, comfortable and close to it all!

"My husband and I treated ourselves and our youngest son and his fiancee to a long weekend in Chicago. We couldn't have chosen a lovelier location! The apartment was spacious, clean and close to public transportation. It was so nice to have covered parking, also. We enjoyed delicious coffee and Swedish pastries for breakfast (from the Swedish Bakery - you have to go!) each morning in the kitchen and sunroom. The walk to the train stop was nice - so many beautiful homes to see along the way. And, we just loved the Andersonville shops! Don't miss the Swedish Museum! This location was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding neighborhoods. Paul was very helpful in answering our questions and is an owner that takes pride in his apartment. We definitely plan to return on our next long weekend in Chicago."
