  • Long time friends yearly guy trip

"We enjoyed the place and lake very much. Only issues we had was wish we had a bigger boat and more hours in a day to enjoy it! Houses were a bit close together from a "party" standpoint but neighbors were not bothersome."

  • Quiet With Lots of Extras

"Our family of eight enjoyed four nights. The home is equipped with so many extras such as spices, specialty coffees, comfy throws, appliances, and Janeece even gave us a list of favorite stores and restaurants within just a few miles. We would definitely recommend this spacious, clean home. Loved the Zoo, Children's Museum, Holliday Park, and Handel's Ice Cream. Thank you!"

  • Beautiful but tough

"This is a beautiful home with a beautiful view of both Beachwalk Resorts & Lake Michigan. However, it is a 5 story building, basement to lookout, with the living room, kitchen & dining room on the 4th level. In addition, it was about 99 stairs + walkways + sandy beach from the house to the waterfront. It was labor intensive & not suitable for anyone out of shape. We did not have WiFi service nor access to the pool in Beachwalk. The 4th floor was a good gathering place for the family, roomy & comfortable. Master BR was large with a wonderful bathroom. Some bedrooms had no closets, dressers, or curtains. We missed having an outdoor shower or spigot to wash off our sandy feet, but there was a huge laundry room where we deposited our beach towels & toys before going upstairs. Overall, we had a very nice vacation; the weather was beautiful!"

  • Great Gathering Place

"Family from the Chicago and Grand Rapids area gathered in this lovely home for a post-Thanksgiving celebration. The views of Lake Michigan are good but I was surprised to see that the home is not ON the beach but across the street from it which is a bit misleading from the photos. You do see the tops of other houses, some cars and garbage cans when you look out the windows and then the water beyond that. We had some trouble with the stove the first night and the manager of the property was very responsive. When her husband was unable to fix it, they brought in a rental stove/oven, installed it and had the other hauled away. The fourth "bedroom" is really just a pass through area off the game room on your way to the stairs. It has two double beds and a twin....fine for teens and kids but not private. The game room was pretty chilly but would be a great spot to hang out in warmer weather. We were also not able to use the Tuscan room or any of the three decks because of the temperature but the outdoor space that goes with this home is varied and plentiful! I think you should be able to negotiate a better price in the winter months because you are realtively restricted to the indoors....other than great bundled up walks on the beautiful beach."
