  • Clean and well equipped.

"Very well equipped kitchen, plus a gas grill and a fire pit with firewood made it very easy to prepare all our meals. A clean rental, and my family appreciated the large number of TV channels available. It was a great rental for our 4 generations."

  • Peaceful escape

"Our hope, as a couple with young kids, was for a peaceful, relaxing weekend escape. This place delivered. First of all, the owner was very responsive in setting up all the arrangements. It was an "anxiety-free" transaction, which was a nice way to start. The home itself is modern, very tastefully decorated, with wonderful natural light. We felt very comfortable and safe. As a bit of a handyman, there were a few "repairs" I'd like to make (the rain showerhead did not work, the bathroom sink was a very slow drain, a blind was difficult to close, and a door handle needs replacing) ... but that's really nitpicking; nothing that I just described took away from the wonderful experience that we had. On top of the first-rate accommodations, we really enjoyed walking the trails, exploring the uniqueness of property, and experiencing all that the surrounding area has to offer. Our kids would have loved it, but this just happened to be a "getaway" trip, and it more than served it's intended purpose."

  • Excellent for several families, reunions, etc

"Just stayed there last week of July 2014. I was nervous taking 24 people to one house and coach house but the combination of the two accommodated our family reunion perfectly. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and all of the rooms were fairly equal in size and surprisingly private with the way the second floor is laid out. Bathrooms were large enough that sharing one with two couples didn't feel cramped. Enough plates/cups/silverware/cooking utensils for everyone and all good quality. Two double toasters, two coffee makers in main house. But the best part about this property, in my opinion, is the huge grassy park right out front. We played soccer in the park, bags, ladder toss, and enjoyed apps and wine on the picnic table there. You can also sit on the house's screen porch and comfortably watch the little kids in the park. There are only a few properties next to the park so it felt like our huge private yard. We had kids ages 3-15. The beach is of course amazing, and it's a few minutes to walk there but little kids were fine. We'll book the house again the next time the reunion is in the Midwest."

  • Ms. Spin

"The facility was quite charming. The rooms were very spacious for a home of that age. The stairs to the second floor are quite narrow and steep. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were nicely up to date."
