  • Returning guests

"This is our third year rendezvousing at the Georgia Avenue house. Twenty of us comfortably enjoy each others company with plenty of living space and bathrooms. Even babies/toddlers/tired adults can nap without being disturbed by the liveliness of the rest of the household. Across the street from the entrance to the beach, walking distance to Washington Park, and a short drive to Al's Market for groceries. Linda, the property manager is a good communicator and does a solid job cleaning this huge home between guests. We look forward to returning next year--thanks, Allen!"

  • Great Stay!

"This was such a last minute trip for us, but we were so glad we found this place and were able to stay here! It's not too far from things, and it had everything there that we needed in the rental. Very clean and cozy place, a lot of room to do things, and a huge yard where you can walk down to the water and have a campfire. We all had so much fun and can't wait to be able to go back! The owners were so nice and accommodating we couldn't have asked for better people. Thank you so much, it was an incredible weekend away with the kids!"

  • Island Getaway

"Just spent a week on the island with 7 family members and had a great time. Pictures do not do this place justice. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. Hal and his wife were very helpful and will bend over backwards to help you out. Weather was good and so was the fishing. Thanks for a wonderful vacation."

  • A Perfect Blessing!

"My family had been through many emergent medical situations over the past 6 to 8 months. We were in desperate need of time together to uplift one another, fellowship, and gather as much strength as possible from one another for the road ahead. I came across this listing on HomeAway, and thought it would be perfect! I had no idea just how perfect it would be. First of all, Scarlet is an absolute Angel on earth! She is so kind and eager to help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable in any way possible. My family and I hadn't had a chance to all be together in that type of setting in over 20 years! If I typed 10,000 more words, I will never be able to describe the overall healing and positivity that took place. We were able to find shelter in our storm so to speak, and we found it in the comfort and serenity of Scarlet's home. What a blessing!"
