  • AMAZING!

"Thank you so much! This house was more than expected. Plenty of cooking utensils and towels. Direct lake access for swimming with beautiful views. We really enjoyed swimming and hanging out. Close to everything, not walking distance but a short drive. On a quiet street, neighbors were very nice. My husband and I and our 3 kids (ages 2, 7 & 9) had the BEST vacation! We are already talking about when we can go back :)"

  • Birchwood Cabin

"Ian and Mariya, you are so are gracious! I fell in love with Birchwood Cabin the moment I saw it in the VRBO listing. As soon as I walked through the door I knew I was home. The cabin is comfortable, warm and cozy. The many windows provide a wonderful view to the surrounding woods and abundant wildlife. The historical information provided on the cabin and the area was very interesting. The furnishings in the living room are comfy and the Laura Ashley bed linens are an extra special touch. The kitchen is well-appointed and has everything you could possibly need for a week-long stay. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk. Al's grocery store is awesome and there are numerous restaurants between Michigan City and New Buffalo to satisfy any appetite. Birchwood Cabin was everything and more than I expected it would be. I can't wait to return!"

  • Just a perfect place!

"How nice to walk into a home and have your breath taken back - this home is so perfect. We were only four and you could get lost. Father and son played pool in the basement - great to hear the laughter. Plenty of places to tuck away to read if you wanted to. Kitchen clean and had everything you could need and then some. Nice little note left, of local things to do during our time frame. Loved sitting on deck for coffee in am and wine in the evening. Clean and comfortable is the best I can say. Thank you for sharing."

  • Excellent for several families, reunions, etc

"Just stayed there last week of July 2014. I was nervous taking 24 people to one house and coach house but the combination of the two accommodated our family reunion perfectly. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and all of the rooms were fairly equal in size and surprisingly private with the way the second floor is laid out. Bathrooms were large enough that sharing one with two couples didn't feel cramped. Enough plates/cups/silverware/cooking utensils for everyone and all good quality. Two double toasters, two coffee makers in main house. But the best part about this property, in my opinion, is the huge grassy park right out front. We played soccer in the park, bags, ladder toss, and enjoyed apps and wine on the picnic table there. You can also sit on the house's screen porch and comfortably watch the little kids in the park. There are only a few properties next to the park so it felt like our huge private yard. We had kids ages 3-15. The beach is of course amazing, and it's a few minutes to walk there but little kids were fine. We'll book the house again the next time the reunion is in the Midwest."
