"My family lives all over the country (Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas). We were looking for a somewhat central location where we could all meet up for some quality time and fun. Being a large group consisting of 7 adults and 7 kids (ranging in age from 3 - 13), we needed quite a bit of space. This house was PERFECT for us. All 6 younger kids took over the bunk room downstairs. All of those little cousins had such a blast playing with each other down there. Having the second kitchen downstairs was also helpful and the ability to wash and dry clothes was WONDERFUL. We loved having the kayak and floaty toys. I took my son down to a lake at a nearby park (not lake Michigan) so he could paddle around without having to worry about any current. He loved it and it was very easily accessible. This place really felt like home. It was clean, welcoming and private and we all had a lovely time. We went to the beach most days, visited the aquatorium, some of us went into Chicago for a day. There was really something for everyone."

"This cottage is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, 2 blocks from a beautiful sandy beach. Most days the sky was clear enough to see the Chicago skyline. We took the train from the Miller station into Chicago to see the sights. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a great stay, including awesome beach chairs! There was even a ball for our kids to play four square on the perfectly shaped concrete patio outside. Miller Beach is a well kept secret. The manager of the rental was friendly and helpful. We met many friendly people and enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!!!"

"My husband and I were looking for a nice, quiet place between Cleveland and Chicago to meet up with our 2 daughters in college in those cities. This fit the bill to a T. Lake house was clean, cozy and my art student daughter especially loved the mid-century decor. Girls grumbled at first to have no internet or TV but we did puzzles and played cards and laughed and enjoyed each other's company, just what we wanted to do together. Loved having such close access to quiet beach as well. My oldest daughter was tickled by the "love letters" on the wall in the front bedroom since she has the same name."
