"The cottage is very cute with a nice deck and a close walking distance to the beach which is very handy when transporting kids. The beach was great. We were there during the week and it was very low key and not too many people on the beach. On the weekends there is more of a party feel, but everyone is quiet and respectful. The cottage had a parking place which was very nice so not having to find a place on the street. Very close to park and zoo and lighthouse and other kid friendly things to do."

"My husband and I wanted a place to stay while visiting our son for IU parent weekend and found this perfect luxury place for the price of an inexpensive hotel! Our son and we enjoyed getting away form the traffic of blooming without being too far away. We enjoyed the zip line experience nearby as well as the beautiful location. The owners are a pleasure to work with and have thought of EVERYTHING to make your experience the best! Pictures don't do this house justice. It's really like having two very spacious bedrooms at opposite ends of the house, because the living area closes off as the second bedroom area. The bathroom also being very spacious and out of the way. The cleanliness is immaculate and the bedding all top notch! Everything felt like luxury here! Our 19 year old son even loved staying here. Hope to make this an annual get-a-way spot for our family. Thanks for everything Gerri and Tim, you two are awesome!"

"We have been renting homes for our large family of 23 for many years. Irish Eyes and Baileys is without a doubt the best home and community we have visited over the years. In fact, before we left on the last day, we reserved the property for next year. The property and location is exactly as described, but the most impressive thing was the responsiveness of the owners to the few problems we had. As an example, we called at 9 one morning to report that the oven wasn't heating properly. Within 4 hours the repairman was here. He determined that the problem could not be fixed so he left and in no time was back and installing a brand new stove--right out of the box. We used the new oven for dinner. I joked that if they had been any more proactive, they would have been here to fix the problem before it occurred."

"There were seven of us using two cottages right after school was out. The lake was quite calm for kayaking in the morning and fishing off the dock was a hit for the children. Later in the days we rented the pontoon belonging to the resort and rode all around the lake. The men went golfing at Tippecanoe CC while the rest of us lingered over coffee watching the children in the pool and doing fishing off the dock. We thought our cottage was fresh and decor was inviting; beds were very comfortable. The children got movies from the office for night time while the adults had time around the fire pit. The management was very accommodating. Pool was too cool for the adults but kids loved it; water toys were plentiful."
