  • a true castle in the sand

"A well laid out, roomie house. A well appointed kitchen, except the very old oven did not work. Could use an upgraded oven & dishwasher. Addition of a fire pit would be nice too. Loved the private deck off master & the roof top deck was a great spot for day/night gazing. Nice furnishings & beach decor. Huge beach towels provided (need hooks for drying tho) Close to beach. Have stayed in 10+ homes in BW, Would rent 'Castle' again."

  • Sister Weekend

"This is our favorite home away from home! The peacefulness and tranquility of Zenadu's surroundings provide rest and relaxation. We especially enjoy the screened in porch for morning coffee and late night chats. The scenic walk to the beach was well worth it! Thanks for another amazing Sister Weekend!!"

  • Awesome vacation spot

"Don and I just stayed here the past week. It was the best place yet that we have ever rented. Tom was there when we arrived and took us through the cottage and talked over what and how to handle the pontoon. He also took us out on a brief spin around the lake to familiarize us with the lay of the lake. He made us feel very welcome. The week was fantastic. The cottage was very nice clean and so comfortable. Don loves to fish and the lake didn't disappoint. We loved every minute, it just went by way too fast! Thank you Tom. We would love to come back next year!"

  • Excellent for several families, reunions, etc

"Just stayed there last week of July 2014. I was nervous taking 24 people to one house and coach house but the combination of the two accommodated our family reunion perfectly. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and all of the rooms were fairly equal in size and surprisingly private with the way the second floor is laid out. Bathrooms were large enough that sharing one with two couples didn't feel cramped. Enough plates/cups/silverware/cooking utensils for everyone and all good quality. Two double toasters, two coffee makers in main house. But the best part about this property, in my opinion, is the huge grassy park right out front. We played soccer in the park, bags, ladder toss, and enjoyed apps and wine on the picnic table there. You can also sit on the house's screen porch and comfortably watch the little kids in the park. There are only a few properties next to the park so it felt like our huge private yard. We had kids ages 3-15. The beach is of course amazing, and it's a few minutes to walk there but little kids were fine. We'll book the house again the next time the reunion is in the Midwest."
