  • Back again :-)

"We had so much fun last year we came back and once again Mother Nature smiled and gave us beautiful weather. Our family love it so much they are now calling it "our lake house". We cooked all our meals - your kitchen is so well equipped - the newly painted cabinets are beautiful. Once again we brought our kayaks, canoe - and a small sailboat. The little ones spent hours in the water and collecting shells and rocks. We did have a couple rain showers but your toy and puzzle cabinet in the family room kept them happily entertained. The rooms are so well insulated upstairs those who wanted to sleep in could do so. The sunsets are gorgeous and sitting in the lounge chairs at the end of the dock in the cool evening breeze - so relaxing. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful summer cottage on the lake. We're already talking about next year :-)"

  • Scottish Visitors For Gen Con

"Overall we found the apartment perfectly suitable for our needs. The good - Plenty of space to move around and the facilities were very good. The coffee and Square Donuts shop below the apartment was excellent too. The bad - The decor is a bit tired. Specifically the locks on the bathrooms need replaced (they don't work); a wall mounted coat hanger is ill fitted and actually results in the wood panel on the wall coming loose. Lastly there was the smell. It's a chemical smell that none of us could actually place but it was strong for most of our visit. It was quite off putting at first but either we got used to it or it diminished over time and became more bearable. Other feedback - I would liked to have had some sort of "local guide" booklet in the apartment as well as some "housekeeping" details like when the bins/trash should be emptied; what the phone number of the apartment was should we need to use it. I am giving this 4 out of 5 stars because the negatives really didn't impact on our stay (smell aside). Would I stay here again? Yes but it would be good to have the "bad" sorted out..."

  • An Amazing Spot for a Company Retreat

"My company retreat was at Tyner Pond Farm, and we had a blast. It was an easy drive from Indianapolis, and the area was beautiful! Chandra and Kara were such a great help through the planning process as well. The house was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed. We walked around the farm to see chicks, piglets and a few farm cats. When we were still at the farmhouse we were brainstorming occasions to come back for. I think you will have some repeat customers with our crowd! Thank you Tyner Pond Farm!"
