  • Great Dunes Trip

"We had a great time at your home in Beverly Shores. The house is so relaxing and upscale with privacy, yet it is only minutes to the beach and activities...restaurants, shopping, movies, horseback riding, biking, and hiking. We especially liked the contemporary decor with great views from every window. The huge deck and screened porch were well used. We will definately be back."

  • Fantastic stay!

"We would highly recommend this place. It is a beautiful place, well maintained, and the views are just gorgeous. The large deck held our big family for dinners each night while watching the sunset. The large kitchen with plenty of work stations accommodated a bunch of cooks and helpers at the same time. The large dining room table allowed us all to sit together. Clean up was easy with the two sinks and 2 dishwashers. The listing and photos were accurate except they didn't do the house justice. It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures. There was enough room that we weren't falling over each other and the adults had their privacy. The fact that every bedroom upstairs has their own bathroom was really nice - I loved not having to share a bathroom. The house was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. And the cousins enjoyed having their own floor downstairs with the big rec room and 2 bunk rooms. We enjoyed the local restaurants: Bridges, Tree House, and Sahara's. The younger kids enjoyed the zoo and the Heston Steam Museum. We all went for hikes in the dunes. Shops at Light House Outlet Mall and in nearby New Buffalo kept us busy on an overcast day. Some of us went golfing at the municipal golf course which was really decent. Sarah was great to work with during the booking process and helpful in answering our questions. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family."

  • Excellent for several families, reunions, etc

"Just stayed there last week of July 2014. I was nervous taking 24 people to one house and coach house but the combination of the two accommodated our family reunion perfectly. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and all of the rooms were fairly equal in size and surprisingly private with the way the second floor is laid out. Bathrooms were large enough that sharing one with two couples didn't feel cramped. Enough plates/cups/silverware/cooking utensils for everyone and all good quality. Two double toasters, two coffee makers in main house. But the best part about this property, in my opinion, is the huge grassy park right out front. We played soccer in the park, bags, ladder toss, and enjoyed apps and wine on the picnic table there. You can also sit on the house's screen porch and comfortably watch the little kids in the park. There are only a few properties next to the park so it felt like our huge private yard. We had kids ages 3-15. The beach is of course amazing, and it's a few minutes to walk there but little kids were fine. We'll book the house again the next time the reunion is in the Midwest."

"What a pleasant place to stay. I mean we were right in the heart of the main street, a few steps down to the street and we were in any ladies "shopping heaven". I have to admit my credit cards were exhausted after three days. The weather was perfect, and the town is charming. we took a day trip in the country on a self guided "backroads Tour of different Artist workplaces. What a hoot - some of these places are really out in "the country". We came home with lots of unique items and a much relaxed attitude. But what you want to know is - how was the stay? There were 3 of us - and no sharing beds in this comfy space. We each had a bedroom and 2 baths - (no waiting in line-in the morning). A large living area to relax in and show each others our wares - and a full kitchen for that late night ice cream - and big cinnamon rolls (from the country store!) and peach salsa - this town even has a flavored popcorn shop! Snackers Paradise!! This is the place to stay when visiting Nashville. Matt & Amy have all the inside scoop on what to see and where to eat. Great Time/Great Place"
