"There were seven of us using two cottages right after school was out. The lake was quite calm for kayaking in the morning and fishing off the dock was a hit for the children. Later in the days we rented the pontoon belonging to the resort and rode all around the lake. The men went golfing at Tippecanoe CC while the rest of us lingered over coffee watching the children in the pool and doing fishing off the dock. We thought our cottage was fresh and decor was inviting; beds were very comfortable. The children got movies from the office for night time while the adults had time around the fire pit. The management was very accommodating. Pool was too cool for the adults but kids loved it; water toys were plentiful."

"We loved this place! There was plenty of room to accommodate our group of 12 and the location and cabin was secluded and beautiful. Peggy was great to work with and we cant wait to come back. Thanks for a great weekend!"

"8 of us stayed here for 3 nights from November 12-15. This was my third stay at The Farmhouse. Once again, I would highly recommend that you stay here if it is available. It is, at most, a simple 10 minute drive to the campus of the University of Notre Dame. It is also quite close to the airport and an easy drive there. The last time we stayed here it was for a week, and one of the days we drove to the airport and took the commuter train into Chicago. I think it was $11 each way and it stops at the aquarium, Fields Museum and the last stop is Michigan Ave. This time it was 4 dads and their teenage sons staying for a football game. We were not at the house all that much, but when we were, it accommodated us very well. I know that there is only one bathroom, and I would tell you that this has never been a problem for us. Even with 8 of us it has not been an issue. Wendy is fantastic and the grounds are so comforting. We will stay here again. And again. And.....well you get the picture."

"I rented this house for a weekend reunion in August 2015. We were a group of 12 and wanted a place where we could all stay together – this house was the perfect fit. It slept our large group comfortably with one bed to spare. The house was in great condition – it’s clear that the owners take pride in keeping it clean and welcoming. We enjoyed grilling, dinners, drinks and games out on the screened in porch. It’s in a great location with a nice view of the lake and easy walking distance from the beach. I was pleasantly surprised with the beach as it was nicer than I expected – more sand and less rocks than I’m used to on a lake shore. Best of all, the owner was very pleasant to deal with and was quick to respond to emails when I had questions leading up to our stay. Overall a great experience – we plan to come back again sometime!"
