"This log home offered much more than we utilized. It has a hot tub, (3) 1-person kayaks with life vests and paddles, pool table, dart board, a couple televisions & great natural woods to hike. We were able to spread out as there were (3) sleeper sofas as well as two king beds. Probably better for older guys like us with some extra weight to take the beds as they offer more support than the sleepers. One guy in our group switched from the main living area sleeper one night to the king bed the next night and slept much better. Good communication with owners via email. Located about 15 minutes from the IU campus. Very quiet at night for optimal rest. Located in the woods so an occasional spider or web can be expected. We had to evict one of them :) Certainly not scarey enough for us to lower our star rating. Would stay here again!"

"We have been renting homes for our large family of 23 for many years. Irish Eyes and Baileys is without a doubt the best home and community we have visited over the years. In fact, before we left on the last day, we reserved the property for next year. The property and location is exactly as described, but the most impressive thing was the responsiveness of the owners to the few problems we had. As an example, we called at 9 one morning to report that the oven wasn't heating properly. Within 4 hours the repairman was here. He determined that the problem could not be fixed so he left and in no time was back and installing a brand new stove--right out of the box. We used the new oven for dinner. I joked that if they had been any more proactive, they would have been here to fix the problem before it occurred."

"This is a great little place to take a fishing trip. Cabin is first class and clean, with everything you need, right down to kitchen utensils. The best thing about this rental is that it comes with a fishing boat. Wake up, walk 30 feet to the dock and you are in your boat. They also provide firewood and a fire pit for night time campfires.
The private lake that it sits on is fantastic and provides for good fishing. In fact, many anglers come from the big lake to fish it. We fished for bass, and were crippled by a cold front our fist 2-3 days, but when it warmed up, we caught many at the far end of the lake, right in front of the lily pads.
The owners are right next door, but do not bother you at all. In fact, there are not any windows on the side of their house that faces the cottage. The only con that I can think of is that the fishing boat leaks and requires regular bailing. However, I was just happy to find a rental that came with a fishing boat (not many do) Overall, this is a great place to take a vacation, and I plan on returning."

"The pictures don't do this home justice. It is larger than the pictures appear. The renters are very nice. Walking distance to the beach and zoo. Loved the outside shower to get the sand off the little ones. I would definitely come back again."
