  • Enjoy Dubuque's wildlife with more comforts than you can imagine!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Edelweiss cabin and plan to return again and again! The owners of the Lorelei Cabins take great pride in their property. They were warm and welcoming- even leaving cookies for our arrival. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained as are the cabins which are immaculate. Everything you need for your stay can be found in the cabin, including flashlights for an evening hike, napkins for taking on a picnic, and shampoo for a relaxing shower at the end of a full day. There is a fire pit for making s'mores right by one of the ponds and hiking trails. There is also a three season porch, grill, hot tub, and balcony with a picnic table. To top it off, there is even a "Party Barn" up the hill complete with a basketball hoop and ping pong table. We enjoyed an early morning hike with memorable, breathtaking vistas and wildlife (deer, birds, turkeys). However, if weather keeps you inside, there is a fireplace, jacuzzi, and collection of DVDs/CDs to use. My husband asked me what I wanted for my 40th birthday and I told him the best gift he could give me would be a return trip to the Lorelei Cabins!"

  • Fantastic Location. Spacious and Comfortable

"We did a couples weekend in Decorah, Iowa to visit Toppling Goliath Brewing and explore what Decorah has to offer. We arrived at 11:00 PM on a Friday night and we could not believe how large the loft was. Bedrooms and bathrooms are separate from the living area which was great when I woke up early on Saturday morning, walked to the grocery store (a 2 min walk) and prepared breakfast for those still sleeping. Everything is within walking distance, even the brewery was only a mile away. Everyone in our group commented how well they slept both nights. Being able to pull the car into the garage at night is fantastic, especially in colder weather. So glad we found this place to stay. We highly recommend the loft!"

  • Rest and relaxation

"We stayed at the home for a week and couldn't have asked for anything better. I was searching for rest and relaxation as I am a caregiver and don't have a lot of time for myself. Perfect doesn't describe our stay. Judy was wonderful. The house felt like home. Was well equipped, clean and great amenities. We were all sad to leave. Traveled with my sister and brother-in-law and the house provided the warmth we needed but the space to let us be our own things. View is spectacular. I left there feeling like I was leaving an old friend."

  • You Won't Find a Nicer Home

"We rented Neptune for a family vacation, we had 11 adults and 4 kids. It was the perfect home. The home is really well-decorated and impeccably built. All the little extras (great wood floors, moldings, paint colors, furniture, quality, everything) really make the home feel like a million-dollar home. The master retreat was amazing, especially the bathtub. Outside was great too. The no-wake cove is perfect for swimming and fishing. It got a little daunting for a few people to climb the stairs to/from the beach on a regular basis but most of us were OK. The only things we wish it had were a level yard in the back for the kids to play in the grass, a hot tub for the adults, and possibly a 2nd large refrigerator (With so many people to feed we needed more room in the kitchen for food storage. This home does have several mini fridges though so that helped). Other than that, this home is perfect for a large family gathering. Lake Panorama is beautiful and we had a great trip. We'd also like to thank Steve for being so friendly and helpful."
