"This is a great historical house in a nice small town. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the Flint Hills. The house was exceptionally clean and much larger than expected. My wife and I had fun touring the back country roads and exploring the hills. The hosts gave us maps and information for exploring the area which we very much appreciated. They were super nice and fun to chat with. By the way, the trains that go by every once in a while are terrific, we really enjoyed them, and the house is so quiet you don’t even notice them, we slept great! Thanks for a wonderful visit!"

"Fabulous. Nice bedroom and bath on first level with limited steps for my limited mobility father to maneuver. What a wonderful Master with private living area and deck. The basement area with bedroom space and utility room with sink was great for our large group. In the lounge area there was a wet bar at the rear of the house. The kitchen was off the charts cool for a VRBO. Homeowner did everything timely and thoughtfully!! Plus location, location, location, we are talking walking distance to Mass St. My only hesitation to rating it high, is the demand it might create. I would like to stay longer next time."

"My wife and I stayed in the Lowell house for a week and have nothing but good things to say. After usually staying in "look-alike" hotels, we decided to rent a house in hopes of a more interesting experience. We got just what we were looking for! The house is in an older neighborhood but has been completely updated inside with "thrift store chic" furniture and decor. Much more fun than a hotel! There's a large comfortable bedroom and a smaller one on the first floor, so older folks or those with limited mobility are accommodated, while there two double beds downstairs for more flexible people. The house was outfitted with everything we needed for our stay from kitchen supplies and cookware to bathroom toiletries and laundry detergent. Having a washer and dryer was a treat and allowed us to pack lighter. There's an amazing view of the KC city skyline from the front of the house and a nice backyard. We had a few simple questions that arose during our stay and found Steven, the owner to be very available and extremely helpful. He dropped by personally to see that we had everything we needed and we had a really enjoyable chat. We certainly plan to book this house for our next trip to KC and give it two thumbs up all around!"

"My mom, husband, daughter & I stayed here for a week. We have stayed at many vacation apartments before, and this was one of the best! Not only was it spotlessly clean, light and airy, but well organized too (the labeling and guest binder are quite helpful). From details like teapots and storage containers to shower gel and extra towels, the owners clearly thought of everything that weary travelers might need to feel comfortable. The BBQ on the deck was a bonus. Thank you!!"
