"This well-appointed cabin has everything you need to enjoy a blissful weekend - or more - in the rolling hills of Western Kansas. Sit on the porch and listen to all kinds of song birds, watch dear, rabbits, and other wild life, hear the beautiful rustle of cottonwoods trees. Inside, you'll find all the amenities of a fully equipped kitchen (including fresh cinnamon rolls and a dozen farm eggs the day we arrived - not guaranteed of course, but I'll bet Mary will have something special for you). Twin beds are comfy, bathrooms have several nice extras, and the cabin comes complete with it's own yellow lab should you feel inclined to sit a spell on the porch with him."

"This house and host were wonderful in every way. The house itself is spacious and comfortable with excellent amenities. It is close to downtown and the neighbors are very nice.
Yania, the host of the house was available and accomadating. I would recommend staying here if you have a family or a group of friends!"

"This house was perfect for our family of 5. Nice bedroom on main floor with a small room that can be converted to a bedroom if requested. Two double beds downstairs. We liked the easy access to the freeway and the close proximity to everything. Great view of the skyline. We enjoyed the use of the well equipped kitchen and the laundry room. Very clean! Steve greeted us at the house and was very friendly. The AC was going out so he had someone on the way to fix it. It was fixed and very cool by the time we returned that evening from our day's activities. We would definitely recommend this house and stay here if we visit KC again."

"This is a great historical house in a nice small town. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the Flint Hills. The house was exceptionally clean and much larger than expected. My wife and I had fun touring the back country roads and exploring the hills. The hosts gave us maps and information for exploring the area which we very much appreciated. They were super nice and fun to chat with. By the way, the trains that go by every once in a while are terrific, we really enjoyed them, and the house is so quiet you don’t even notice them, we slept great! Thanks for a wonderful visit!"
