  • Warm Welcome

"Our friends from Australia stayed here with their 3 Daughters and couldn't have happier; this review is on their behalf. All expectations were met. Being so far from home, it meant a lot that the owners were so welcoming. Off to Disneyworld for the next adventure!"

  • Home away from home

"If you are looking for peace & quiet and a beautiful cabin on the lake, look no further. Windy Cove is the best! My husband (age66) and myself (age58) take 4 or 5 "mini vacations" every summer. We rent from private owners and this place by far beats every place we have ever been. We spent our days on our pontoon and are evenings grilling out and then retired to the screened in deck and took in the beautiful view of the lake along with enjoying all the "night critters" chirping! There is no dock for your boat, but plenty of trees to tie up to like we did I just can't put into words how nice Windy Cove is, but trust me you fall in love with this cabin & surroundings. The owner met us there and he was so nice and helpful showing us around. Only two suggestions- a new set of steak knives and perhaps if possible to weed eat the path to make it a little wider. Thank you Scott & Judy for giving us the best trip ever! We look forward to seeing you next year (if we can wait that long!)"

  • James and Leslie

"We've always stayed at the state park lodge.Decided to try Coop's Cottage on a different area of the lake and very close to the Baileys Point boat ramp. It was just what we hoped it would be. Great location, comfortable, plenty of parking. Not only a deck overlooking the lake but a nice side porch as well. Theres a well stocked Dollar General about 5 mins away. We will stay here again."
