"We had a short vacation to Lake Barkley and stayed in a Cabin rented by John and Kim Morgan. There were 6 of us and the cabin was just right with my wife and I in the master bedroom, grandma in one bedroom, 1 kid in the other bedroom, and 1 kid on each of 2 sleeper sofas. The cabin is well furnished with everything one would need to stay a few days or a month. The kitchen is equiped with more items than our kitchen at home so all one needs to bring is their food and clothes. Spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the lake and wooded area and saw deer and other wildlife every day. Unfortunately, it rained almost every day we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the lake as much as we would have liked but did get clear down to the main body of the lake and took a few swings on the rope swing which we were told about.
The dock was very nice and includes a ladder for getting back on if one was swimming. It was convenient to have the boat tied up as opposed to having to launch and load it every time we went to the lake. The walk down to the lake and dock is steep but a drive has been built so that one can drive down there and back. This is especially nice for people who are not a mobile as they once were.
John and Kim are very nice and accomodating. They work very hard to provide the best experience for your stay.
Only difficult part is the driveway/parking which is tight and sloped. We managed fine and the cabin we rented had a concrete pad to one side which was great for parking our boat trailer."

Great stay close to everything Lexington has to offer!
"We traveled with another couple for a Thursday night football game at UK. The house couldn't have a better location. It is a block from Rupp Arena and all of the other downtown attractions. Keeneland is a short drive away along with all of the Bourbon Trail. Jerry is very easy to work with and was very responsive. The house is very clean and well equipped. I would recommend to anyone looking for a Bluegrass weekend!"

"We (my family and my extended family) stayed in this house for a week on the occasion of my daughter's wedding. This house gave us the opportunity to mingle around all family members in the backdrop of beautiful surrounding of deck and at the dinner table. We hosted small functions at this house with our friends and guest with no issue from any neighbor. It is near and approachable to downtown, our wedding venue and conveniently located near the shopping area of Springhurst and Prospects. Owner of the home is very helpful. Allow us to visit the home three times before our stay time to help us to plan and design our functions. She is also approachable and helpful in after the stay. We told her that we left some stuff at the home and she told that she noticed it and make arrangement to collect us the stuff."

"This was the perfect setting for our family reunion! The cabin is absolutely beautiful-the pictures don't do it justice! Lots of room to spread out, very homey and clean, decor is very inviting, and the large screened in porch a favorite place to hang out. Cabin is well stocked. The owner, Robbin, was very pleasant and helpful! I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin rental!"
