"We love going to Cumberland and we usually tent camp or stay in a relative's camper at Conley Bottom but for this trip we decided we wanted a house/cabin. We ABSOLUTELY loved sitting on the deck in the evenings, the view is gorgeous! The place was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious dinners. We put our boat in at Alligator II and got a slip to keep our boat there overnight. The breakfast there was great too! The pictures don't do this place justice! The wifi is definitely a bonus! We went to Norris Lake twice this summer staying at houses that did not have wifi and it was a nightmare! We will probably stay here again."

"Dear David and Lisa;
We arrived on November 26 and left on November 29, 2014.
Thanks so much for allowing us to spend quality time at your cottage. It is an amazing place. We arrived on Wednesday evening, it was already dark. Upon arrival we fall in love with the house. The decorations, the attention to detail from bedding, bathrooms, wall plates, to kitchen fully equipped for all our needs. We enjoyed the night playing games, talking, telling stories, making plans for our family’s future, Basically enjoying each other. This year has being hard for our family, so we really needed this retreat. On Thursday we woke up in paradise. From every room we had a view to the river, even when the day was cloudy the view was gorgeous. We spent Thursday enjoying each other, playing ping-pong, and cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. On Friday morning we went to Yahoo Falls, the tallest water fall in Kentucky. The place is beautiful, not only the water fall but the rock formations in the area. We came back home, and enjoyed the afternoon relaxing, taking pictures, talking, and playing games. At the end of the day we used the Hot Tub which was amazing combined with the beautiful fireplace ready to warm us when we came back inside. Leaving on Saturday morning was so hard.
This experience has been great and we really appreciate your hospitality.

"We had a great time! The house was big enough, loved having a washer and dryer, the kitchen had many amenities. The front porch needs a good power wash and the grill was unusable (it wasn't clean, the area around it was dirty). The owner was great to work with. We rented a golf cart because there is alot of walking. The lakes are a bit far, but you can walk down to a pond/mini lake. Everyone we met was so nice."

"We stayed stayed in this cabin (family of 5) for a couple of days to enjoy an early spring south of us. We went fishing, enjoyed the scenery, and Mammoth cave. The view from the cabin of the lake is beautiful. The cabin was clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful."
