  • Very Open, Spacious, Updated, Tastefully Decorated and Clean Property

"For our family reunion's annual get-away, this was perfect! It worked well having a fully equipped large and spacious kitchen and living areas both upstairs and down. The floor plan was very open, spacious, updated, tastefully decorated, and clean. Having a private boat dock was excellent and it wasn't any problem to drive down to it from the house. Tanya was a great host and provided a lot of useful and helpful information. Strongly recommend it."

  • Wonderful Getaway-No Detail Left Unturned!

"I have been fortunate enough to visit Pam and Paul's beautiful cabin on two separate occasions; once with my husband, two college-aged children, and our dogs; once for a late Fall weekend with my husband. We came away each time feeling like we had stayed at a lovely little boutique hotel. The cabin is nicely furnished, the kitchen is very well-stocked, the setting is incredible, and most striking of all is the amazing attention to detail. The hosts have obviously tried to anticipate their guests' every need. This is the perfect destination for someone who is looking for rest, relaxation, and quality family time. The lake view is spectacular from the deck or the dock, and we even had a visit from some young bald eagles. We highly recommend the Stone Cottage on the Lake!"

  • Great place to stay and fish, awesome staff!

"This was the second time we stayed at King Creek Resort and Marina. Both times we found the accommodations to be great and the staff was awesome! We had our family reunion (total 15) this year and had a blast. Ate fish every day, and even made reservations to come back next year. We had family from Georgia and Illinois so it was almost 6 and 1/2 hours from both states. Would highly recommend this to anyone with family or fishing groups. I did not think of it at the time but the noise level was very quite. The Staff is Awesome, everyone there was extremely helpful, and truly wanted you to have a great time. You do not see that these days everywhere you go, but you really see it here. Note this is a fishing resort for families and fishing groups. This is not a 5 star resort, yes you have to wash your dishes by hand so enjoy being together. This is an excellent place to spend time with Family! We had an Awesome family reunion! Todd M."

  • A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE

"Our favorite pastimes are visiting new spots and revisiting our favorites. Our visit to this home has spoiled us for any place we’ll stay in the future. We read the description and were sold. This place is even more enchanting than anticipated – the photos don’t convey just how wonderful it is. The genuine lake house feeling we were hoping for is exactly what we found here – down to earth, a very cozy and warm home, yet pristine and rich with fine points. The hosts clearly take what they do seriously and to the great benefit of their guests. The awareness of even the most subtle particulars delivers something rare. Being closer to the water is impossible. We didn’t expect sun and mild temps for a January visit, but we had them. Looking out the windows we saw Bald Eagles soaring over that blue water right in front of the house throughout the day. My favorite happening – I was on one of the deck’s comfy chaises, soaking in the sun and being hypnotized by the ultimate view when a huge Bald Eagle landed in the branch of a tree about 35 feet from me - Amazing!! I got a couple of mind-blowing photos. I could rave on about this wonderful place, but there are a few practical details to share – The trip into Murray is straightforward and not far. The Kroger is very nice. We were going to eat out one night, but once we got settled in we just couldn’t leave our private bliss. So, on the day we departed we were sad to go. Our consolation was immediately reserving a stay for the coming summer. We are looking forward to making good use of that extra kitchen and spending the days on the dock’s sunny, swim platform with my sisters and their husbands! It’s a challenge to put into words the long list of attributes and perks here that make this 6 Stars! A spell has been cast on us by this MAGICAL lake home!! The summer cannot arrive too soon!!"
