  • Everything as written about this home is true

"We enjoyed this home for a Monday thru Friday. It was so pretty with absolutely everything you could want in a lake home. We wanted for nothing except warm temps and sunshine and that can't be rented :) The owners were gracious and accommodating and answered every question prior to our visit promptly. The home was comfortable and so beautifully decorated. A spectacular view of the lake. A simply wonderful week which went by far to quickly."

  • Great Getaway

"After staying in motel type lodging for over 30 years, our fishing group decided to rent a house. We are very happy that we found this one. Great views of the lake and nature. We had wild turkey and deer standing in the back yard. Home was very clean and that at-home feeling. The kitchen was great. Our group likes to eat. Plenty of work space and all the tools to cook with. I would definitely recommend this house if you want a great stay in the Jonathan Creek area. By the way, we caught over 500 crappie while we were there. Can't wait for next year!!!!!"

  • Yet another time....

"I'm sad to report I just returned from my 4th visit to the stone cottage on KY Lake....sad? Yes! I could have stayed another 8 days. Lovely as always...rained a bit, but that didn't keep us from enjoying bass fishing every day! Rain! I got my Toyota and my 2014 Skeeter FX20 stuck while parking my rig. Had to call a tow truck to get both out. My husband went to tell Pam and Paul that their pretty grass had a truck and boat stuck and had created a little mud...They immediately came to offer help. They were gracious and more concerned about my rig than the grass. Frank, Nashi (our little Shiba Inu) and I hope to go again. No need to write about the beautiful, well kept cabin. It is as described, but words really don't do justice to the quaint, comfortable home away from home! Boo! I miss it already."

  • awesome getaway home

"My husband and I stayed here with our sons, daughter in law and infant amd toddler grandchildren. The house was immaculate and very roomy giving us all our own space while being together. Kitchen provided everything we needed to cook as a family all 5 nights. Walk down to boat ramp wasn't too bad - can see where elderly would have issues though. Really only issue was the ductwork in the house - every time the air kicked on or off the ductwork clattered which didnt much bother us adults but my 3 year old granddaughter was terriifed. Loved that it was "like home" in the sense that we felt safe and didnt feel like we had to lock things up like fort Knox every time we left or went to bed. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Owner was great to deal with as well!"
