"This little house was beautiful. The online pictures do not do the house justice. There is no internet or cell service which was great for a vacation. No work worries with no phone or email. It made us enjoy our vacation more and have more family time. There are deer everywhere you go and you can hear many animal sounds and see lots of water all around. Loved our stay."

"We had a family of 12 and stayed very comfortably in this house. Love the bunk beds for the kids!! Only negative was temperature was not regulated throughout house very well. Extremely cold downstairs and too hot upstairs. House is very well equipped with everything you need for your vacation. Pat, property manager, is awesome!"

"6 adults and a retriever spent 5 nights at the house. This is a wonderful property with all the amenities you could possibly need. The view cannot be matched anywhere - you find yourself lost in it. Even so, there is plenty to do. We made a day trip up to Marion KY to Amish country. We rented one of the owners boats for two days and did some lake cruisin' and fishing. Some of us visited the Nature Reserve (Land Between the Lakes) and saw the buffalo and elk herds, visited the Homeland (re-enacted life in early American times). We thought we would eat out but the home was so comfy and kitchens so well stocked that we enjoyed staying in at night, cooking, and piling on the large sectional and watching football games. The only downside is the spiral staircase which is a unique feature to the house but with small children, senior adults or anyone that has trouble with mobility, it can be prohibitive. With the living area and television downstairs, this could be restrictive for some. One in our party simply used a flashlight at night to walk the outside stairs to join us but, that's not ideal. Also have to mention our black lab was in heaven chasing squirrels, retrieving in the water and running up and down the KY hills. All of us returned relaxed and happy to have seen a beautiful part of the USA."
