"We had the house for 4 nights and loved the privacy afforded everyone, with the bedrooms spread out. The bed was comfortable. I liked that there were night lights where needed for safetyl. We had a big party on Saturday and the house accommodated it wonderfully. We will use Catfish Cove in the future when we have several family members visiting from out-of-state. We coincided with Barkley Lodge's annual Wild Game Night, which was great! My only suggestion to owners: If an advertised amenity is not working (ice-maker), you should let the renter know before arrival. It wasn't a big deal--ice is easy to get. But we had planned on it."Guest: Fancy Nancy Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 31, 2014View listing
"This was a perfect house for some friends and I to spend a long weekend. The inside is well kept and updated with plenty of room for the five of us (and more if we'd needed it). We spent most of our time on the excellent back porch overlooking the lake and large, grassy yard. We'll definitely stay there again."Guest: Patrick M. "From the moment we arrived we loved the house and everything in it. We met some high school friends ( go Class of 1977) from central Illinois and had a remarkable weekend. Fun fun fun! Very well-equipped With a beautiful view of the lake. We even went into Eddyville, rented a pontoon and spent the day on the lake Even though the temps were in the 60's. Thank you for Sharing your home and we will certainly rent again when we come back to the area."Guest: Tina B. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 27, 2014View listing
"We found this cottage for a last minute get away. Kurt was able to get us in despite the last minute notice. The place was immaculate. The view was even better. In the morning we would wake up to an eagle in the tree right by us. Him and his wife were overly friendly and gave us ideas for things to do and places to eat. Everything he told us about was great. He even let us bring along our big dog. If you want to have a good time, this is the place to stay. We will definitely be back."Guest: Brittani Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 28, 2014View listing
