  • Fantastic House and weekend with friends!

"From the moment we arrived we loved the house and everything in it. We met some high school friends ( go Class of 1977) from central Illinois and had a remarkable weekend. Fun fun fun! Very well-equipped With a beautiful view of the lake. We even went into Eddyville, rented a pontoon and spent the day on the lake Even though the temps were in the 60's. Thank you for Sharing your home and we will certainly rent again when we come back to the area."

  • Back to nature with benefits!!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week long Rest & Relaxation vacation at Lucky Lake House. The listing description and pictures are exactly as it is. The house was comfy and cozy, but the outdoors could have used some TLC. We would definitely recommend to friends, and may even rent it again ourselves."

  • Labor Day Weekend

"We spent a long weekend at this lovely home and could not be more pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen along with the fancy gas grill on the upper deck suits even the most discerning of cooks. (One of our group is a chef) The home is tastefully appointed and well laid out with an open floor plan. The 3 bedrooms are all spacious with top of the line beds and linens. The master bath, I must say, is big enough to throw a party in! The upper deck is spacious with very nice patio furniture, as well as a swing and a great view of the water and also the wildlife (hummingbirds, water fowl, etc) It is very secluded-cannot even see the neighbor's homes due to woods and tree lines, which is a big bonus for us city dwellers that want some peace and quiet. Yes, there is a slope to get from the house to the dock, but that is typical of Lake Barkley, and if you are in reasonable condition, it is not a problem at all to get yourself and your gear up and down the well manicured slope. Our group was all age 50-65 and we had no problem. The dock is wonderful, with a sunning area and a covered area, and a swim ladder. We loved this place and plan to return!"

  • CosFamilyVacation

"Love this well maintained 4 bedroom home purched nicely above the Little River arm of Lake Barkley. Great views of the water all around and birds galore. Plenty of room for our family of 8. All the modern conveniences and close to town in case the need arises. Close enough to Nashville for a day trip."
