  • Great Place to Chillax

"We just returned from staying at this property for 4 nights/5 days while riding the great back roads of central KY. Lovely place to stay, quite and very clean. The home was decorated beautifully and had all of the amenities that you could ask for. 3 adult couples stayed with no "cramped" feeling that 6 adults may experience in most homes. We were treated great by the owners and provided all the information we needed to make the stay even a bit more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property if you riding motorcycles (parking in the garage was perfect), we were able to park 1 trike, 1 full dressed bagger and two large V-Twins in the garage, or if you have a boat. This house is within 300' of the boat ramp. 6 thumbs up on this one!"

  • Perfect location for relaxing getaway.....

"My husband and I just returned from a week stay at this lovely location. The view is incredible.. lush green trees, the mountains, the water and of course the sounds of nature are truly splendid. The privacy is wonderful, the home is complete with all the needed amenities to have a relaxing vacation. Nearby cities provide a variety of activites to please all ages and interests. We loved going to Cumberland Falls and purchasing some pottery from Junkyard Pottery. This beautiful home is large enough for different combinations of families, groups, reunions or get aways. There are areas large enough for many to gather and the front porch as well as the two decks in the back allow for smaller groups to gather to talk, read, or sit and enjoy the spectacular view. The owner has provided a modern and well equipped kitchen. Cell service is minimal but there is a landline available and the wifi worked perfectly. My kindle fire hd worked perfectly. It was nice to have a break from our cells and a short drive allowed for better cell service. We had such a wonderful time here and plan to return someday to experience the fall colors. This is truly a delightful place to vacation. We chose to relax but there are many options nearby to have an active, relaxed or both kind of vacation. We did not need to call the owner but it was nice to know that option was available if needed. The home is truly lovely and the floor plan is truly designed for comfort as well as function."

  • Everything You Could Want & More

"When you drive up the winding road to this home the scenery is breath taking. Lake Cumberland can be viewed through the trees & you get that feeling your vacation has begun. The circle driveway was perfect for our bass boat & trailer & we were able to back up to the shed to charge the trolling motors. As we walked in the front door my boys & husband started high-fiving me on choosing this house. Win for Mom! That first step in the house you see the sun shine through the floor to ceiling windows & the view just takes your breath away. There are three full bathrooms with plenty of towels & three bedrooms with comfortable beds & PLENTY of extra bedding. The kitchen is fully functional & I cooked 3 meals a day here while on our trip. My only suggestion would be to bring a casserole dish for oven cooking. There are plenty of pots/pans/serviceware, just not much to bake in. We also brought extra toilet paper, paper towel & garbage bags as suggested. There is a washer/dryer which was perfect for us. I had everyone pack super light & just ran a load of clothes each night. Also, no dirty clothes to wash when you get home. Another win for Mom! The bathroom pipes do make a noise after flushing, but we could care less. Water pressure in showers was awesome & bathrooms immaculate. The house stayed cooled through the July heat, no issues. Three balconies was where we spent the mornings drinking coffee & reconnecting as a family. Nights spent relaxing in the hot tub. The gas grill was not working or we couldn't figure it out. Didn't matter to us, it was too hot to stand in front of a grill. The downstairs pooltable/fooseball/checkers kept the kids entertained while Mom & Dad unwound. Cell service (Verizon) worked throughout the house &surrounding areas. There is no internet. No problem-I turned my cell phone into a hot-spot & boom we had Internet. We spent everyday fishing, docking at beaches, swimming, camp fires & having quality family time. Boaters:ramps in area are steep. My 2wd Flex did fine, but we were sweating it. There is a launch a mile from the house w/more in the area. Beavers creek marina=10min boat ride, bait, fuel, bathrooms. I have rented many homes on VRBO & I am here to testify, you will NEVER find a home this beautiful & spacious for this price. Shelia has done an amazing job maintaining the house with all amenities needed, clean decor & friendly stress-free rental transactions. Stop looking, this is your vacation home."

  • Wonderful

"The condo and the owner were both wonderful. The codo was so clean and beautiful. Very upscale! The owner couldn't have been more flexible and accommodating to me and I really appreciated that. My 7 year old had a fever one day while I was there and I called the owner to find out where the nearest store was and instead she told me where her secret stash of medicine was in the condo. What a save. I do a lot of long weekend vacations with my kids and have stayed at a lot of rental places. This by far has been my favorite condo. Thanks Holly. Planning to book another weekend for next month."
