"Great lake house on the water with a gradual slope to water. Lake lot was back in a cove off the main water which really nice. No water traffic or rough waters. Neighbors were great and very accomodatiing with answering questions and assisting my father-in-law (age 84 young) in getting him back to the house from the boat dock. First visit to Lake Barkely and it will go down in our "good experience" memory book and a great fishing experience as well. Owner was easy to work with."

"It had been way too long for this close yet "far away getaway"! The cabin was a perfect place for us to spend some quality, uninterrupted time together reconnecting. The cabin is roomy with a good layout of kitchen/living area as we prepared our meals together. Our time there was very relaxing as we enjoyed the electric fireplace and the view of the lake was absolutely beautiful as the snow was falling! (Tim was great in accommodating our arrival time as snow was predicted!) We especially enjoyed the game started by a previous guest - "Where's George?" You have to go to find out!!! We would recommend this cabin for any type of group!"

"We had six guys stay at the apartment for our annual fantasy football draft. We loved the building and location. It's right by Fourth Street Live and a manageable walk to Museum Row. The building is near a hotel, so it was really easy to get taxis for any longer trips.
The spiral staircase in the condo is a really neat feature, but groups with young children might want to avoid it. Other than that, the condo is amazing. Having the half bath and wet bar upstairs in addition to the two full ones downstairs is an especially nice feature. It really made the rooftop patio a great place to end the day.
The host was really helpful and responsive. Everything about renting the place, getting the keys and checking out went really smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a nice experience."

"My children selected Peter's Cave Retreat to bring together our family to celebrate my milestone birthday. We enjoyed 3 gorgeous nights and days. The open concept and extensive deck space was wonderful for gatherings. The large dining table was perfect for family meals. The four bedrooms were each decorated in its own theme, many with repurposed items. (Which I love). The house was extremely clean and very well stocked with many linens, kitchen items, movies, games & firewood for the fire pit. We wanted for nothing. The walk down to the dock is steep but the switch back steps are very well built and provided our exercise for the day. We rented a boat from the marina located just across the lake. The lake was very clean and had little traffic. We enjoyed the day cruising & swimming. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to emails and questions both in the planning stage and during our visit. I highly recommend Peter's Cave Retreat."
