"The Lakehouse had a great layout and floor plan for both adults and children. The adults had 3 private bedrooms and great room / kitchen while the kids occupied the 4th bedroom / play suite. The covered porch had a nice wooded view as well as a table for the adults to eat at and even a new gas grill. Since the weather was a little cool at night, we made use of the large outdoor fire pit and even had smores!! There was antique car festival in Grand Rivers (short walk) and the kids loved going to Pokey's Café which rented golf carts. The owner Todd was easily to deal with and helpful. The house and porch were in very good shape and clean. I recommend the lakehouse for anyone looking for a spacious house in a neat little town on Kentucky Lake!!"

"We stayed at this beautiful place with our 2 school-age children and it was perfect! The house is spacious and clean, and we loved the history of the place. We enjoyed being able to look out the windows and see the horses and lovely farm. Steve and Lisa were easy to work with, stopped in to make sure we were settled and invited us to explore their farm. With this as our home base we made a day trip to Mammoth Cave, toured bourbon distilleries and horse farms, and checked out local bbq joints and shops. Highly recommend this place!"

"We have had our college reunion here the last 3 years and it's a wonderful place to stay where we can be under one roof.
We love that it's big enough that we can go different directions for small groups, yet the great room is big enough for us to eat together and play games. We love the game room in the basement - brings back memories of college days. We love to be able to sit outside on the porch. We especially enjoy having a campfire at night. This place meets our every need. It's especially great that all we have to bring is food and clothes. All linens, appliances and kitchen items are furnished. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We look forward to many more years together."
