  • Great location in the downtown area

"The location of the condo was great. In the downtown area and reasonably close to campus. The condo had a very comfortable and home like feel. It is a great alternative to staying at a hotel"

  • Fantastic Stay!

"We really enjoyed our stay at the little lake cottage. From the very beginning the owner was very nice and helpful, quickly returned emails, answered any questions and provided us with all the details and info we needed to ensure our stay was excellent. He really wanted to make sure we had a great weekend at his lake home. When we arrived we were very happy with the look and feel of the house. It was very nice and clean and plenty of room. The pictures really make it seem smaller but when we arrived we all said how much bigger and open it looked in person. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. There were 3 bathrooms which was great since we had 11 people in our party. We also loved the downstairs room, it was a big open space with 4 beds a couch, tv and table, it made a perfect place for the kids......and they loved it. The home was furnished with everything we needed and within walking distance to everything as well. The little town was neat and everyone was very nice . We enjoyed the park and fishing at the little lake. It became a nightly ritual to walk to the ice cream parlor for some delicious treats :) We all had a Great time and will hopefully be going back soon. Again I cannot say enough about Todd (owner), he was great. Thank you for our fantastic weekend getaway!!!"

  • Yet another time....

"I'm sad to report I just returned from my 4th visit to the stone cottage on KY Lake....sad? Yes! I could have stayed another 8 days. Lovely as always...rained a bit, but that didn't keep us from enjoying bass fishing every day! Rain! I got my Toyota and my 2014 Skeeter FX20 stuck while parking my rig. Had to call a tow truck to get both out. My husband went to tell Pam and Paul that their pretty grass had a truck and boat stuck and had created a little mud...They immediately came to offer help. They were gracious and more concerned about my rig than the grass. Frank, Nashi (our little Shiba Inu) and I hope to go again. No need to write about the beautiful, well kept cabin. It is as described, but words really don't do justice to the quaint, comfortable home away from home! Boo! I miss it already."

  • Home away from home

"If you are looking for peace & quiet and a beautiful cabin on the lake, look no further. Windy Cove is the best! My husband (age66) and myself (age58) take 4 or 5 "mini vacations" every summer. We rent from private owners and this place by far beats every place we have ever been. We spent our days on our pontoon and are evenings grilling out and then retired to the screened in deck and took in the beautiful view of the lake along with enjoying all the "night critters" chirping! There is no dock for your boat, but plenty of trees to tie up to like we did I just can't put into words how nice Windy Cove is, but trust me you fall in love with this cabin & surroundings. The owner met us there and he was so nice and helpful showing us around. Only two suggestions- a new set of steak knives and perhaps if possible to weed eat the path to make it a little wider. Thank you Scott & Judy for giving us the best trip ever! We look forward to seeing you next year (if we can wait that long!)"
