  • GOOD FAMILY TIME AND COMFORTABLE HOUSE!!!

"We stayed at this house a couple of years ago and decided to return. The open floor plan met our needs perfectly. There was a new large screen, wall mounted TV in the great room and a couch that gave us plenty of room. The dock made it convenient to fish a couple of times a day, the wildlife made walking a pleasure, and the great weather made September a time when we would visit again. We had rain one day, but there was a game table (lots of games and puzzles) and the screened porch for kids/adults. We ate at Barkley Lodge one night, which is less than five miles away so that's a nice option. We would go there again."

  • Another weekend in paradise

"Experienced a wonderful albeit brief time in our favorite hide-away on the Cumberland. Just a few minutes from Burkesville, but sitting in the porch swing above the Cumberland you'd swear you were a million miles from civilization. The wildlife was varied and the fishing exceptional, even with the high water. We caught three nice 20+-inch Rainbows, a real pig-of-a-walleye (over 4 pounds, easy) and a few nice Browns too."

  • Lovely Fall Get Away

"The cabin was set in a lovely location. It's not right on the water, but the view was still nice. The inside was clean and nicely stocked. This was the perfect size for a couple or a family of 3-4. The deck was probably my favorite part. We used the tiki torches and the charcoal grill. There aren't many places close by to eat; we wanted to go to Shady Cliff but it closed early (It was a Monday) and Mustang Grill was also closed. Plan accordingly! My only minor complaint was that the map sent (in PDF) was hard to read - it was faded and the lane does not show up on GPS. I would just suggest a new fresher copy to help guests easily find the cabin."

  • Eddy Bay Lake House

"The highlite of our summer for the last 10 yrs.+ has been our annual stay in this homey, comfortable, exceptionally clean lake house. With one child and family living in Wi. And the other one living in Texas, this location is a great "meeting place" for both families. This house and location provides more than enough room and activities to keep our 6 granboys busy and HAPPY at all times.Even when offered other exciting locations for our "summer vacation"....well....the vote is ALWAYS 100% EDDY BAY LAKE HOUSE.... Oh... The family pets can come along also... As the family grows.. There are accommodations for extra people just steps away.. And...Jan and Craig, the owners are absolutely the very best...."
