  • Great escape in the gorge!

"First off, Sue was such a delight to work with. She made the whole booking process easy and was available to answer questions along the way. Me and some friends rented the place to celebrate a friends birthday. The cabin was spacious and had all the accommodations we needed. We spent a lot of time outside on the patio and in the hot tub under the stars. We grilled. We had a fire pit. Can't wait to go back."

  • Family Weekend Celebration

"Beautiful home with pictures not doing it justice. Very impressive. Very spacious with six adults and one child. Gorgeous view of lake from family area and balcony that also over looks the large pool and awesome hot tub. Management was great to work with and couldn't of been nicer. Definitely would recommend and stay here again. Built fire down by lake one night too. So fun for all. Kitchen so fully equipped. Great place and great memories."

  • This place is awesome!

"My favorite part about staying at the house (besides the beautiful view) was how far away we were from the busy-ness of life but also how close it was to everything if needed. My 17-year old son asked me "How did you find this place? It seems so random!" I find this to be a BIG compliment because the house is in a very quiet neighborhood - with a beautiful view of the lake. It is far away from traffic but a very convenient drive into Russell Springs (for groceries, gas) and close to Jamestown Marina\State Dock Marina (for boating/jet skiing). We had 10 people in our group and we had ample space for all - whether it was to watch movies in the livingroom, have drinks on the deck, make smores with the grill, play games at the large dining table or alone time in our rooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home (if you choose) - pots, pans, skillets, dishes - even for a large crowd and the gas grill is convenient for cooking for many people. We spent every morning on the deck eating breakfast\drinking coffee and every evening on the deck eating dinner\drinking cocktails to enjoy the peacefulness of nature. The covered porch was also a nice way to get out of the sun or to enjoy quiet time away from the teenagers while still feeling like we were outside. We had 3 cars and there was plenty room for parking. Tara and John were especially helpful with the directions to the place and nearby resources - including phone numbers\websites for renting boats and jet skis. The only complaint we heard (by the teenagers) was there is no wifi - but you know what? It's sometimes nice to be completely disconnected from technology so we could be connected as a family. I highly recommend this place for quiet, peace and enjoyment with the convenience of recreation close by (20 min drive)."

  • Great Lake Cumberland Spot

"Myself and a close group of friends stayed at this property in August of 2014. We all had a great time! There are many great things about this property. I will offer up the highlights... The cabin... 1) It is large, much larger than the pictures make it look. Our group of 11 felt like we had tons of space. 2) It is a charm. The log cabin is beautiful, inside and out. Again, I felt like the pictures didn't quite do it justice. 3) The screened in porch is enormous and bug free. It rained one day during our visit and the porch was the perfect place to hang out. 4) From the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to the laundry room, everything is in great working order. The Property... 1) Isolated...but not too isolated. The cabin is tucked back from the street and there aren't many neighbors within 500 yards or so. The property has a private/secluded feel to it. 2) Lake Access...We had rented a pontoon boat from Conley Bottom for 5 days and parked it at the end of the hiking trail that exists on the property. For those of you that know Lake Cumberland, there aren't many properties that offer access to the lake. A 5 minute hike put you right on the water. The Owner... 1) Very friendly and offered up a ton of good advice (where to go, what to do, places to shop, etc.) 2) Always replied to phone calls/e-mails very quickly (within 24 hours). 3) You could tell that she cared about your stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is seeking a Lake Cumberland vacation."
