  • Great Location

"We were in town for the PGA Championship, and this apartment was perfect for our needs at a price that could not be beat. The studio space was perfect for two. We cooked breakfast in the apartment one morning, and we walked to nearby restaurants or ate at the golf course otherwise. (We highly recommend Holy Grale for excellent beer and food!) The bed was comfy, the linens were clean, and the neighborhood was safe and well situated. The owner was also very accommodating. If we ever need to stay in Louisville again, we'll definitely be back. The only reason I don't give it a five star rating is because the accommodations aren't luxurious. If you're looking for comfortable, clean, and a great location though, this is your place."

  • Family absolutely fell in love with this cabin

"Beautiful cabin, beautiful Lake, peaceful, secluded, exactly what we wanted. Rained a lot but everyone loved the cabin and didn't mind spending the indoors. I on the other hand canoed and fished when it didn't rain and when it poured rain, did everything I could to catch fish but only landed a single largemouth, which was disappointing but just to be out in the canoe rain or shine eased the pain of no fish. The fall colours were spectacular. Tim was extremely helpful and just a phonecall or a text away. He replied immediately to my texts and couldn't have been more accommodating"

  • Yet another time....

"I'm sad to report I just returned from my 4th visit to the stone cottage on KY Lake....sad? Yes! I could have stayed another 8 days. Lovely as always...rained a bit, but that didn't keep us from enjoying bass fishing every day! Rain! I got my Toyota and my 2014 Skeeter FX20 stuck while parking my rig. Had to call a tow truck to get both out. My husband went to tell Pam and Paul that their pretty grass had a truck and boat stuck and had created a little mud...They immediately came to offer help. They were gracious and more concerned about my rig than the grass. Frank, Nashi (our little Shiba Inu) and I hope to go again. No need to write about the beautiful, well kept cabin. It is as described, but words really don't do justice to the quaint, comfortable home away from home! Boo! I miss it already."

  • Nice getaway!

"The house is secluded and peaceful. We had almost everything we needed already there. Other than a closed up smell when we arrived, it was close to perfect for what we were looking for. The road and driveway are a bit tricky when pulling a pontoon boat (narrow, winding, and no place to turn around till the end), but the truck driver in the family had no problem with it. Overall, it was a very pleasant vacation. We spent time boating and jet skiing out on the lake, cooking, and just resting. I wouldn't describe this as handicap accessible or toddler friendly, but it's great for older kids and people who are able to manage steps and walk up and down hill."
