  • Great place!

"This was our first stay in Maine so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. This condo was above and beyond what I was expecting! Such a great condo- 2 bathrooms, beautiful kitchen with granite countertops and all the essentials for meals at home, good sized bedrooms and 2 patios / deck. The maintenance man was working outside when we arrived and was super move and welcoming. The beach was about 15 seconds away. The owner was great and kept in contact with me before our stay and even left us flowers and a bottle of champagne (we were there for our honeymoon) I would absolutely stay here again!"

  • BEST PLACE EVER!!!

"This is truly a magnificent place! We absolutely fell in love with this cabin in the Yaak and it has now become an annual vacation for us. The property is packed with beautiful trees and is well maintained. Fishing and hunting is at your doorstep and the outdoor activities are endless. This is the cleanest most comfortable cabin we have ever stayed in. Extremely cosy and well equipped with anything you need for cooking, relaxing or staying warm. This is a Beautifully peaceful area and the best place to get off the grid. During our stay we saw dozens of deer, eagles, hawks, owls, rams, fish and much more. Wildlife is bigger than you can imagine with daily encounters. The bed is extremely comfortable, has heated blankets and couples well with the inviting decor throughout the cabin. It was refreshing to have a nice warm shower which never ran out of hot water too! There is a large porch which was perfect for kicking back, taking in the fresh air, viewing wildlife and drinking our morning cup of coffee. There's a satellite tv, great sound system and a HUGE variety of DVDs to rent. There's also an awesome fire pit directly in front of the cabin. On a clear night you can see thousands of stars miles away from the city lights. RB and Sha are genuinely friendly, EXTREMELY accommodating and will do anything to ensure you have the best stay possible. They are both very knowledgeable about the area. They know all of the great fishing holes, back roads and can recommend the best restaurants nearby. This is truly a phenomenal place to get away. There is no cell service so this is a great way for us to escape from the day to day hustle and bustle. The locals are friendly. Don't be surprised if you receive a wave from almost every car you see on the highway. If we could rate this experience on a scale from 1 to 5 we'd give it a solid 10! Already counting down the days until we return!"

  • Top Notch Place to Stay - Highly Recommend

"We could not have been more pleased with our stay in the condo. It had everything we needed - WIFI reached all the way out to the beach - the new cable looked great - the two queen beds in the guest bedroom that is almost another master was terrific for my girls. The master was awesome with a huge walk-in closet and bath area. The split floorplan was a great feature. Kitchen had everything we needed. The cooler and beach set-up are tremendous amenities to include. Close enough to Pier Park for a short drive. And I have to mention the floor to ceiling windows giving a stunning view from the living room and both bedrooms on the 6th floor. Parking could be better but that's the design of Seachase. We are looking forward to a future trip and will definitely be calling again. Thank You Jean for the condo and being so easy to work with before, during and after our stay."

For families and people who want to enjoy water sports, the summer months are the best time of year to visit. From May through September, the lake experiences warm summer temperatures which make it ideal time of year for swimming, boating, waterskiing and sailing. During school summer vacation periods, the lakeshore can get very busy as families choose to spend their summer vacations on the lake. The busiest season is typically June and July. For those who want to enjoy the quiet serenity of Lake Erie, it is recommended that you rather travel in the spring season which is during April and May or the fall season which is September and October. During the winter months, the lake is transformed into a winter wonderland. Areas of the lake frequently freeze over and the shoreline is blanketed in thick snow. Getting to Lake Erie

Lake Erie is the southernmost of the Great Lakes. Its shoreline includes the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan in the United States as well as the north shore which is in Ontario, Canada. The three major cities on Lake Erie are Buffalo in New York, Cleveland in Ohio, and Detroit Michigan. Detroit has the largest and busiest airport and is the main access point for the western shore. Detroit also provides easy access to the Canadian side of the lake through the neighboring city of Windsor. If traveling by road, there is a good network of roads along the lakeshore, providing easy access to vacation homes on Lake Eerie. If staying on the northeastern shoreline of Lake Erie, you may consider flying into Toronto and then getting a domestic connection on to the town of London. For travelers from the United States, the best access point on the northeastern side is the city of Buffalo, located near Niagara Falls. Cleveland Airport provides good access to Lake Erie's southern shoreline.
