  • Avanzino has everything

"We loved our stay at Avanzino. The home is amazing and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you'd need - down to good knives and lots of pots and pans. And two King sized beds in different rooms meant we didn't have to fight the other couple we were with for the best room. We spent a ton of time on the huge back porch and our dog loved to roam in the fenced back yard. The hot tub was a fabulous addition. And we took advantage of the amenities that came with the rental - including pool and private lake access. We also appreciated the wi-fi. And the location is great. We rented bikes in Tahoe City just a couple miles away from Dollar Point, Avanzino's neighborhood, and we were only about 15 minute drive from Squaw Valley where we hiked to the top and took the complimentary tram down. They even let dogs on the tram! Loved our vacation and would definitely rent Avanzino again."

  • Very enjoyable rental experience

"This was our group's second year in a row to rent from Peach Creek. We have stayed in the back house both years and have been more than pleased with our experience. The home was very clean and well taken care of. It is very enjoyable staying on this property because it has so many perks that you won't find at another rental. The yard is beautiful and provides a perfect setting for enjoying quality time together. Parking is plentiful and it is in a very safe, secluded area. The home is spacious and is wonderful for entertaining large groups. The owners are very polite and great to work with. I highly recommend this property and plan to continue to rent this great property!"

  • Condo on ocean with fabulous lanai

"Our stay at this condo was no less then spectacular!! The owners were so nice to work with when booking the condo. The condo was perfectly decorated and huge! We felt guilty with only 2 people staying there. The stereo/TV sound system was fabulous. We had trouble leaving the lanai to do anything, it was so comfortable and right on the Pacific. It was stocked with anything we could have needed in the kitchen and so convinently located to everything. There is even a small open air market right across the street. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone staying in Kono. So much better then a hotel."

Getting to Lake Erie

Lake Erie is the southernmost of the Great Lakes. Its shoreline includes the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan in the United States as well as the north shore which is in Ontario, Canada. The three major cities on Lake Erie are Buffalo in New York, Cleveland in Ohio, and Detroit Michigan. Detroit has the largest and busiest airport and is the main access point for the western shore. Detroit also provides easy access to the Canadian side of the lake through the neighboring city of Windsor. If traveling by road, there is a good network of roads along the lakeshore, providing easy access to vacation homes on Lake Eerie. If staying on the northeastern shoreline of Lake Erie, you may consider flying into Toronto and then getting a domestic connection on to the town of London. For travelers from the United States, the best access point on the northeastern side is the city of Buffalo, located near Niagara Falls. Cleveland Airport provides good access to Lake Erie's southern shoreline.
