  • Comfortable home, great location

"This house is just off the interstate and very easy to get to. The drive into Nashville took only about 10-15 minutes. The house was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and well equipped. Our adult children were surprised that owners would let complete strangers stay in such a nice place! Jack and Lee were great to deal with, answering all of our questions promptly and giving detailed directions and instructions. We were in Nashville for a wedding and had limited time to explore the city. When we return, we'll definitely stay in one of Jack and Lee's properties again!"

  • Cabin on the Current River

"Absolutely, the most perfect family gathering place. We had the best time. The weather was perfect. We floated both days. The property is beautiful, so clean and well-maintained. The photos of the property reflect the property accurately, but the property is way more than the photos can show. Thank you Ann and Dan for sharing your beautiful cabin with others. We plan to go back next year."

Ohio Travel Tips

Consider the Advantages of Staying in Lake Erie Vacation Rentals

Lake Erie is the fourth largest of the Great Lakes and the most southerly situated. It is 240 miles long and 57 miles wide with an average depth of 62 feet. It is surrounded by sandy bluffs, forests and beaches and has many rivers which feed into it, offering great amenities for those vacationing in the area. The lake also has many small islands which are now state parks.

Lake Erie is a wonderful area for family vacations with a huge array of things to do. The lake itself provides opportunities for boating and watersports and there are several beach areas. Ohio is also known for its wineries which can be toured and the wine can be sampled before buying. Museums, amusement parks and horse racing can also add to the pleasures of staying in this lovely area.

Staying in a vacation rental on the shores of Lake Erie is the perfect way to appreciate its quiet, natural beauty. Often set in quiet woodlands, far from noisy roads and cities, Lake Erie cottages are the ideal bases for relaxing vacations. From your home-away-from-home, you can explore the area and its attractions at your own pace, retuning in the evening to a cozy fire and warm bath.

Lake Erie cottages come in all sizes to suit larger families or couples. All vacation rentals have fully equipped kitchens, making preparing meals and snacks very easy and saving money on eating out. Larger families will appreciate the generous living space provided in vacation rentals which are available with as many bathrooms and bedrooms as you need. Washers and dryers are also useful for those pursuing outdoor activities where they’ll get their clothes dirty. Cottages and vacation rentals offer a quiet escape from everyday life and are ideal for a romantic weekend away at almost any time of year.
