"This condo was exactly as it was pictured. This is our 2nd stay in this condo building. Perfect location. I was nervous about using VRBO at 1st but everything went smooth. Laura's Vacation Rentals was great, always responding quickly to questions and great communication. We had 2 family's stay (10 people). Plenty of room, large kitchen. We used pool, weight room, grill, & hot tub. Just far enough away from busy downtown. Recommend Lulu's & Sea & suds to eat. Golfed at Craft farms, shopped at Tangier outlet mall, took dolphin tour. Beach was just across the street. I prefer the condo view to having house on beach. Highly recommend this condo. Only con was they need to update patio furniture. We will definatly go back."Guest: Reilly family Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 26, 2014View listing
"Just returning from Villa de Ligera (Feb 08-15,2014). Our unanimous rating is that of Excellence. The process started 6 months prior to the actual trip with emails back and forth to Peter, the property manager. Peter answered all of our questions promptly, offered suggestions and referrals and always replied to my emails. The rental contract furnished by Sea Feathers was easy and straightforward with all costs explained. The week prior to our arrival Peter confirmed our flights, which were originating from 3 different US cities and upon arrival at the Provo airport, Peter was waiting outside Customs with a sign welcoming our party. Peter also assisted us with the rental vehicle company, Grace Bay Rentals, whom I highly recommend. Peter then led our band of vacationers to the villa where we were all instantly impressed. The villa did exceed my expectations and that is not an easy task to accomplish. The grounds are well kept, very clean, and secluded. Peter takes the time to give everyone a complete tour of the property, directions for the alarm system, media center and the outdoor music. The villa sports a wide-open floor plan, which is exactly what our group wanted, plus it provided for awesome views of the pool and ocean. Our party consisted of 5 couples and not once during the week did any of us feel crowded. The villa’s main attraction is the back covered patio overlooking the pool and the ocean. We spent every evening on the back patio overlooking the beautiful ocean sharing stories of the day’s adventures and enjoying refreshing spirits. The villa has tile floor throughout and ceiling fans everywhere. AC is available however none of us required it. The open floor plan and the proximity to the ocean provided an awesome breeze during the day and night. The villa is semi secluded and off the beaten path, which is exactly what our group wanted. A rental vehicle is highly recommended and the road leading into the area of the villa is a little rough but easily navigable to all. The island is easily navigable and everything is relative to the traffic circles on the main road, Leeward Highway. Remember to drive on the left, Give Way at the traffic circles and speed limits are just suggestions as we found out. Also it turns out, so are stop signs. The gas stations on the island do not take credit cards, so plan accordingly. Overall, our group gives the Villa de Ligera and Peter (Sea Feathers) an exceptional review and recommends both to anyone."Guest: BrianS Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 1, 2014View listing

"Two families (4 adults and 3 teenagers) met to spend a delightful weekend at this lovely farm. We arrived at Cardinal Springs the day before Thanksgiving. Because of a snowstorm we arrived much earlier than the stated check-in time. When I apologized for the early arrival, Steve was very understanding. We were able to put both of the farmhouse kitchens to good use cooking and enjoying our Thanksgiving feast. Our teenaged daughters loved checking out the property, meeting the goats, horses and mules as well as the very friendly barn cats. I had a great time as an amateur chicken tender, collecting eggs and even petting one of the sweetest hens you will ever meet. The farm is located to give you the feeling of isolation even though the town of Sperryville and several other towns are very close-by. I recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a rustic setting with all of the conveniences of home."Guest: Margo B. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 30, 2014View listing
