  • Best vacation ever!!!

"There were 5 of us staying in this condo and the accommodations were awesome. I believe we had the best view of all the condos. Plenty of space with room to spare. Location was kinda in the middle of everywhere we went, whether it was north or south. Kitchen, Dining room and bathrooms were really nice. The carpet in all bedrooms needs to be replaced along with the living room furniture. We easily overlooked this as the rest was just awesome. The view is perfect. Snorkel gear, beach chairs and towels, floaties, beach umbrellas, it was all there for use. Only downfall was that my mom hurt her foot before our trip and there are no elevators and we were on the third floor. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying on Kauaii as opposed to a hotel if you're staying on the island more than one night. Very quiet and relaxing. There are 2 bedrooms available."

  • Birdwatcher's Haven

"If you like listening to birdsong in the morning or watching hawks and herons, then this is the place for you. Salt Creek attracts other wildlife too, deer, beavers and bats. It's a nice walk to a couple local wineries and The Blue Goat, local foodie restaurant. It's a great place to get away and relax. I highly recommend it for the city weary."

  • Perfect mountain cabin!!

"The cabin was more than we were expecting, the pictures do not do it nor the view from the balcony justice!! It was a perfect getaway for our family. The cabin was within a 15 minute drive to everything in Pigeon Forge but felt so far away when you were on top of the mountain! We enjoyed the hot tub as well as playing a few nightly games of pool with our kiddos! The cabin had everything we needed for a week long stay with 3 kids. Thank you so much for opening up your lovely cabin to us and we will most certainly return! By the way.....if the bear in the downstairs bedroom does not have a name, my 2 youngest called him "Jerry" the whole time! Thanks again!"

  • We loved it!

"It was perfect for my husband and I. There is a pool at the condo, the beach is in walking distance and just a bike ride or drive away from Coligny Plaza where we ate the whole trip. I will definitely stay here again!"

Favorite Seasons to Visit Lake Erie Vacation Rentals

For families and people who want to enjoy water sports, the summer months are the best time of year to visit. From May through September, the lake experiences warm summer temperatures which make it ideal time of year for swimming, boating, waterskiing and sailing. During school summer vacation periods, the lakeshore can get very busy as families choose to spend their summer vacations on the lake. The busiest season is typically June and July. For those who want to enjoy the quiet serenity of Lake Erie, it is recommended that you rather travel in the spring season which is during April and May or the fall season which is September and October. During the winter months, the lake is transformed into a winter wonderland. Areas of the lake frequently freeze over and the shoreline is blanketed in thick snow. Family Fun Times at Lake Erie Cabins

Lake Erie is a superb family vacation destination. Many of the vacation homes are located on the lakeshore, providing easy access to the water and a wide variety of water sports. The kids can spend the days fishing and paddling in the shallows while parents enjoy some relaxation time on the deck. If you have a boat, many of the homes have private moorings where you can tie your boat up so you don't need to launch and recover it every day. Picnic areas are great places to enjoy some fun games with other families. During the summer season, there are frequently festivals and events that provide further fun and entertainment for the family. Getting to Lake Erie

Lake Erie is the southernmost of the Great Lakes. Its shoreline includes the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan in the United States as well as the north shore which is in Ontario, Canada. The three major cities on Lake Erie are Buffalo in New York, Cleveland in Ohio, and Detroit Michigan. Detroit has the largest and busiest airport and is the main access point for the western shore. Detroit also provides easy access to the Canadian side of the lake through the neighboring city of Windsor. If traveling by road, there is a good network of roads along the lakeshore, providing easy access to vacation homes on Lake Eerie. If staying on the northeastern shoreline of Lake Erie, you may consider flying into Toronto and then getting a domestic connection on to the town of London. For travelers from the United States, the best access point on the northeastern side is the city of Buffalo, located near Niagara Falls. Cleveland Airport provides good access to Lake Erie's southern shoreline.
