  • Great place in Wasilla.

"Our family of 4 stayed here for a hockey tournament. It was a great place for resting, being quiet, and it was very comfortable. We could make our own food in the well stocked kitchen. It was cheaper than staying in a motel. The kids liked the games, access to wi-fi, and t.v. (It's winter time- none of that in the summer- we are outside). It was spacious for our family and hockey gear."

  • Best Condo Ever

"This condo is amazing.we stayed here for 3 weeks with our friends and had a fantastic vacation. The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed many meals on the Lanai watching the sunset. It was really great to have a sofa and arm chair on the lanai where you could relax and look at the ocean where we often saw dolphins and turtles. The kitchen has everything you need and more to cook great meals. My husband was previously a chef and cooked some fantastic meals. There are even herbs and spices available. This is the best condo we have ever stayed in and will definitely be returning. The bedrooms are comfortable and both have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning for those hot days when the trade winds are not blowing. The lounge area was so comfortable with a great sofa and Arm chair. There is a great selection of DVDs. The pool was great and we often had the pool to ourselves."

  • Great Holiday at the Beach!

"We just got back from a wonderful stay at Ocean Isle Beach! We love this house! It is large enough for our family plus friends and was in a great location. The common living area is a great place to gather for meals, yet the house has plenty of room to "escape" the rest of the family if need be! :) We love having the canal there to park our boat, and the beach is just a short walk away. The house is very welcoming, and we all felt right at home. The decor is bright and cheery, and we were all amazed at how clean it was! The outside sitting area was a wonderful place to sit and read (when the weather was warm) with plenty of room for the grillers in our family to congregate while barbecuing. Bethany was a joy to work with, very prompt with her responses and very personable. We have already received our security deposit back! We will most definitely return in the summer. If we had this much fun in the winter, I imagine we would love it in beach weather! We can't wait!!"

  • Awesome !

"We were pleasantly surprised about the whole package! Very clean, well appointed, most comfy king bed, amazing views, quiet, awesome stargazing at night, completely private! We've stayed in hotels typically, but with this home, you receive the benefits of quietude, no hotel business, cook or not at your leisure !, and short distance to many wonderful beaches! All of the hotels have public access parking and short paths to the beach. The stay provided boogie boards, sand chairs, beach towels, ice chest, snorkel mask (no fins). Rental for those just a walk away! The central bar at the Grand Wailea perfects an amazing coconut martini and sweet island live music... Just FYI! The beaches just past the Andaz.. Are lovely for snorkeling and boarding ... With 2 restaurants just north on the sand! Great MaiTai at 5 P's. Thank you Kanako for your welcome basket and prompt service! Mahalo!"

Lake Michigan is an impressive stretch of water that extends more than 375 miles from north to south. At its widest part, it covers a distance of more than a 100 miles from east to west; on average, it is just over 50 miles wide. The southern parts of the lakeshore are well developed with the metropolis of Chicago being the main center. As you travel further north, the lakeshore is more remote and dotted by the occasional village or small town. The scenery is spectacular and the natural surroundings are a haven for outdoor and adventure activities. In the winter months, there are extensive trails for snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Ice fishing is another popular pastime. In the summer months, many people take to the lake to enjoy a variety of water sports. Boating, sailing and fishing are some of the most popular activities. Young kids can also enjoy waterskiing, wake boarding and tubing on the lake.

Traveling to Lake Michigan
