"The pictures do not lie, charming is an understatement! It's absolutely breathtaking beautiful and perfectly decorated! Super location, very quiet, very, very clean and comfortable! We really got to experience New Orleans like a local would by living in the Quarter! It was so nice to be able to make breakfast in the morning and enjoy your fresh coffee on the balcony before heading out for the day. There is everything you need to make your stay feel like home! 2 adults & 1 child, the size was perfect! Thank you, thank you for opening your home up to us, it was a vacation we will never forget!! The owner is simply the very best and we look forward to our next stay in NOLA and rebooking here!"

"We love, love, loved the house. Most of the group that I was there with had never been to New Orleans, so it was nice to stay in the middle of the quarter in a house with a real traditional look and feel to it. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 sitting area's and a kitchen. There is a ton of space in this place. We never felt cramped, and always had a place to sit and talk far enough away from people were were trying to get some sleep. We sat on the balcony almost every night and people watched. There was a nice thunder and lighting storm one evening and it was great sitting on the porch, hearing the rain fall and the lightning dance across the sky. (we were in heaven, as we are from California and haven's seen rain in weeks). We were met promptly with keys upon arrival (event though i changed the arrival time at the last minute). We were also allowed to store our baggage after check out time, since we had a late flight out that night and still wanted to explore the city a bit. The house was stocked with toiletries just in case you left anything at home, as well as tons of extra towels and blankets. I would defiantly stay here again!!!!"

"My Husband and I stayed in the Carriage house on Royal Street during the last week of Mardi Gras. (Our first visit to NOLA). From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a fabulous choice. The location was perfection, walking distance to all the top galleries and fine dining, An easy walk to Cafe DuMonde and Jackson Square, and if you like, to Bourbon street. Even though we were only a block from Bourbon, it was quiet and felt safe. Its easy to get a pedi cab to the parades if you need one. The carriage house is small, but comfy, the big bed was filled with pillows to sink in and sleep like a baby after a day of exploring. Tiny kitchen was perfect for making morning coffee and late night snacks. Bathroom is tiny but has everything you need. You must love old houses and expect this vibe here,This isnt a cookie cutter hotel experience. The courtyard was beautiful filled with flowers and fruit trees. if you want to absorb the French Quarter atmosphere and true Southern Hospitality look no further, The owners were fabulous and invited us up to the main house to toss beads from the Gallery and have a cocktail. The Main house is amazing and filled with beautiful art and details. We hope to come back with our adult sons and rent the main house in the future. The big house second story would be a Honeymooners dream, large canopy bed and fabulous decor. We cant wait to come back!!!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed Bayou Rose, its setting and hosts. Anne recommended the perfect dining and recreation spots that made our short stay so delightful. Bring your binoculars and enjoy birding from the rocking chairs on the porch! The cottage has everything you need, very inviting and relaxing. This is an excellent home base for exploring Cajun country."
