"This was our second stay with Louie and Elly (who are amazing and helpful hosts!!!) and it was a stellar experience for the second time. We were there over Halloween the first time and St. Patricks Day this time. The place is in a prime location with just a short, pleasant walk to Frenchmen St. and the Quarter. You couldn't ask for more from a vacation place or the fabulous owners. Everything is clean, the decor is funky and fun. Everything you need is either right there or just a couple blocks away. We will definitely return AGAIN."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing i didnt like about it was the parking, which I know it's the French Quarter and it's to be expected. But being a first timer there, having a mapped out location of where a parking lot or garage was would have helped us so much. Or maybe even an address. Loved having everything so close. Will definitely return :)))"

"The girls and I opted to find a condo to rent instead of a hotel during the Essence Festival and I can say we weren't disappointed. The condo is just a few steps from Bourbon but not the end of Bourbon that gets a lot of traffic which was perfect for us. I loved the fact we were essentially in the heart of the French Quarters which allowed us to easily get to some of my favorite restaurants and had the cutest boutiques which allowed for plenty of shopping. The condo itself was awesome. Very cute and could easily accommodate 6-8 people (especially since it had 3 full bathrooms). There were only 3 people in our party so we each had our own living quarters. One thing to note is that I tend to not be able to sleep with there is a lot of outside noise but the only thing I heard was a little music from one of the bars and it didn't bother me at all. The music wasn't blaring which was a good thing. I would absolutely stay here again.
As for parking there is a hotel right down the street that charges $35 per 24 hours for parking. This worked out well for us as well since there are some hefty parking restrictions in the area."

"Thank you for renting your French Quarter home to us for seven nights, March 24-31. In a very short time it felt like our home, too. We found it to be very well situated for us to walk to most of the events of the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival. We did take a taxi to the Ogden Museum for a viewing of Tennessee's paintings, dinner by John Besh, and concert by Allen Toussaint. And, we took a taxi to the Ashe Power House Theatre to see "Suddenly Last Summer" -- the other events were held at historically interesting architectural venues in the French Quarter, and we walked to all of them. We always felt safe, even walking home quite late one night from Frenchmen Street.
Since we are two retired women used to living in our separate large homes for so many years, it was great to have the privacy of the two bedrooms at either end of the house and for each of us to have our own bathroom. And, it was quieter than we expected, only street noise from the revelers one night, and it wasn't too bad at all. We appreciated the option of relaxing in the den and the private courtyard.
And, I'm so glad that you had a coffee grinder as I brought my own favorite coffee beans. In fact, it took some looking at times, but we found just about every practical thing we needed -- except for a step-stool. I'm only 5' tall, and I could not reach the top of the doors for the latches or any of the kitchen shelves except the lowest ones -- but after our return you notified me that you believe that there is one to the right of the fridge.
Thanks again for everything, Mary Anne, and since I love coming to NOLA I would like to think I could rent "our" home again . . . This was my first experience of using VRBO, and it was worry-free with all agreement terms dealt with in a timely manner."
