  • Best location in the french quarter

"Stayed at this lovely home on Dauphine in the French Quarter for a week that included St Patricks Day.Would recommend this place for 4 -6 people sharing.Great location one block off Bourbon, easily walked to the great music bars on Frenchman Street and of course the zoo on Bourbon. The home has a very nice courtyard for morning coffee or afternoon beers.Sometimes when you rent private homes you are disappointed by what you don't find in the fridge and cupboards, not this place, lots of coffee mugs, cutlery, wine glasses and condiments to spare. Will stay again for sure.Make sure to check out the BMC on Decateur / Esplanade for great bands, also any bar on Frenchman's street.Fritzels was our fav bar for music on Bourbon.Food is awesome pretty much everywhere,we liked the Palm Court, great food, great band."

  • Great for a family, clean, comfortable

"Highly recommend. This was perfect for our family. We spent 3 nights here with our kids, ages 8 and 12. The location is just steps off Magazine Street, with many shops and restaurants, but the home is quiet and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. We walked to the street line on St. Charles and took it downtown for the French Quarter, French Market, aquarium, and more. We also easily took the streetcar the other way to the zoo and Garden District. We aren't used to public transportation, but from this location we were able to park the car for two days and still get where we wanted to go. Riding the streetcars was part of the fun. The bus is even closer. The home itself is nicely furnished with two spacious bedrooms, with the living/kitchen area in between. Beds were comfortable, and the entire place was clean. A bonus is the large collection of books and CDs, which we all enjoyed browsing. The wi-fi access was also helpful. The balcony is a nice place to read, enjoy the night air, or watch people coming and going on Magazine. The kitchen is small but was enough for us to fix breakfast, lunch, and night-time snacks a few times. The owners' house is separate and across the yard, so we still had plenty of privacy. We met the owners and could have found them easily if there had been any problems. We had a great vacation and this place was everything we needed!"

  • Big Enough For Family of Four

"Great place to stay. My wife and I and our 2 boys (both over 6ft) stayed here recently and really enjoyed the central location to everything. Even though it was a studio, it did not feel cramped. You do need to arrange for your own parking (we used Spot Hero and found a nearby lot for a reasonable price, book it before arriving)."
