  • Clean, Comfortable and Quiet

"This is our 3rd year renting this apartment and we absolutely love it! The outside courtyard is where all the action is...well, if you're with the right people! Plug into the "New Orleans Jazz" station on Pandora, and you'll feel like there's a Live Jazz concert happening in front of you. We loved having a place to go during the day when we needed to rest and relax from all the sightseeing. The location is perfect! One block from the Market Place and two from Bourbon Street where you can find anything and everything to have a lot of laughs and good times. The accommodations were outstanding with newly renovated bathrooms and kitchens, and the living room is a very comfortable for a lot of people when you feel like you want to sit around and just watch tv. I'd recommend this property for Adventure seekers Age 55+"

"I had the privilege to get to stay in the Guest House for three weeks! What a perfect place to get away and get caught up on writing! So many lovely touches to make you feel at home! Really hated to have to leave! I will be back!!!"

  • Nice, but with closely grouped bedrooms

"Nice, large house with plenty of parking. A rental car is a great way to tour New Orleans, and this house puts you no more than 10-15 minutes from most of the places you'll want to be. Neighborhood is pretty and safe, and the two baths were adequate for our party of 8. Only thing for other renters to be aware of is that three of the four bedrooms are grouped VERY close together, with each sharing a wall with two others -- in fact, the fourth bedroom can only be accessed through the second and third, meaning those occupants need to traipse through someone else's bedroom to reach the bathroom in the middle of the night. So, this configuration would probably work fine for families, but is a little uncomfortable for several couples traveling together. But if the bedroom configuration works for you, it's a nicely sized and well located house for a large group."

  • A Wonderful Retreat

"We recently spent 9 wonderful days at Bonne Terre. The cottage is lovely and so well furnished. The kitchen is fully stocked. Jen has thought of everything you could possibly need for a great visit. CD's, books, and DVD's are plentiful, but it was just fun to sit on the porch with a cup of hot tea and watch the chickens and horses in the back. Since my husband is from central Louisiana and I graduated from high school (eons ago!) in Breaux Bridge, we were already familiar with the area, but we still found plenty of things to do and people to see. Jen is a wonderful hostess. Even though she was quite sick while we were there, she was more concerned that we were having a good time and had everything we needed. (We did.) We are not artists, but this is truly a retreat. We're already planning for our next visit. Thanks, Jen, for a wonderful week."
