"Very nice and very clean place to stay. Spent four days at the Hideaway. Enjoyed every minute of it. Enjoyed the fishing during the day and the game room at night. Grilling on the deck was awesome. The owners are very nice. They answered all of my questions very quickly. I will be back again. I highly recommend the Hideaway !!"

"We stayed at this lovely 2-bedroom apartment when we visited New Orleans for the first time. We came for a wedding, a close friend of our daughter's, and drove from New England. The apartment was clean, lovely, and decorated in New Orleans style. We were delighted with the location, just a house away from Magazine St., and close to wonderful restaurants and other amenities. We encountered Elena and her family a few times, and they were eager to help, and included us when their family went to watch an impromptu parade. We were pleased to find that there was a parking spot for us right outside the apartment, protected by a gate. We would love to plan another trip and stay in the apartment; their hospitality made our visit all the more noteworthy."

"GREAT AMMENITIES, Clean, plenty of space great docking facilities. The sight fishing was awesome. we left the dock at sunrise and returned at sunset.
(negatives) a big feature for us was to be the ice machine, IT DID NOT work. 8 guys and 3 boats, the ice bill ended up over $150. The range down stares totally shot."

"Four couples stayed for three nights to attend a family wedding in New Orleans. It provided private rooms for each couple. Only change we would have made was giving bedroom by kitchen to early risers instead of late sleepers. Not a problem with house just our planning. We used public transportation to get Around town. Went to French quarter, city park, Audubon park. Bought bus day pass for $3.00/day for unlimited use/day. Daily Bus pass can be used for streetcars And bus. We walked to grocery store for breakfast and lunch supplies. It worked out well for us. When using bus we did allowed extra time since traffic made a difference with buses being on time. Bus riders were helpful and very friendly. Loved the local culture. The owners were available for help via phone when we had two questions. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. We sat in back yard for wine late afternoon before heading out for evening. Each time we had a nice breeze. I would recommend this home."
